Grayson POv.
I wake up and the hostel room is silent. I try to listen in closely, but there is no sound in the space. I get up and walk out of the room. It is completely empty. I walk back to the room and take out the cup I brought from home. I guess they wouldn't mind if I poured myself a cup of coffee.
I will go out and do some shopping this morning right after I check to see if I have any assignments. The workload seems to decline with each passing day. If you take into account that summer break is around the corner then it would make sense. I have only two more weeks before the exams start. I will try to make some arrangement with the university of berlin so that I can use one of their classrooms for the exam.
I do not want to be flag for cheating on a test. I guess after shopping I need to go to the university or maybe I should ask UCLA if it is okay with them first. I walk to the room and got my laptop out of my dresser.

Grayson POVWe all got ready and piled into Eon's car. We made our way to the pub called after dark. I didn't want to go when I heard the name. It makes me think of a strip club and A glorified porn movie.Tina promised me that it was a respectable business. The reason why they called it after dark is that during the day it is a diner but as soon as it get dark the place transforms into a pub with live singers and a dance floor. Grayson POVIt's been a week since I made the horrible mistake of drinking too much. We have since not gone out drinking again. I did make an appearance at every pub in the vicinity with live music. I have had no luck.During the day, I sat down and did my assignments, and learned for the exams. This week I decided that I was going to sightsee before the exams. I mean,what is the use of visiting a country without seeing anything?I am on my way to the Brandenburg gate. I was told that it symbolizes the separation between East and West Berlin. It was heavily damaged in world war 2 but has since been restored.I get out of the cab and walk towards the gate. There are 5 walkways and 6 columns that separate them. It has a sandstone color. The middle column is wider than the rest.On top of the bridge is a statue of the goddess of victory driving a chariot pulled by four horses. She is supposed to symbolize peace and was only added later.N

Grayson POVI made my way to Museum Island. Yes, you heard correctly. Museum Island is home to 5 different museums. Altes Museum, Neues Museum, Alte National Galerie, Bode-Museum, and Pergamon Museum.First I went to the Altes Museum. It is a museum full of ancient art and antiquities. I stand in front of the museum. The mere size of it is amazing. On the south side of the museum, there are 18 columns. On top,there is a Latin inscription that I cannot understand.There are also 18 eagles on top of the roof. One for each column. Higher up there are two men who look like they are fighting horses.I walk through the museum. I walk into the room where there are one of the more permanent exhibitions called the Ancient worlds. The whole room gives me the creeps. It is mostly sculptured without their heads or some of their limbs. I high tail out of there into the next room.Next up there are Roman marble heads. Grayson POVI arrived early this morning on Museum island. I want to go through at least 2 Museums today before the sunset.It is going to be hard. I usually get lost in museums and totally forget about time. Today it is time for the Neues Museum. This museum showcases art from the prehistoric up to the middle Ages.I walk into the first floor there is a collection of early humans. There is a lot of ceramic pots and brass pots that were used at that time in Egypt. There are also pots with images painted on.There are also busts of various people. These collections still freak me out. It is weird to see, a head, without a body.There are walls that look like it was taken directly out of a pyramid. The pharaoh busts and tombs There are even walls full of hieroglyphics.The bust of Nefertiti can also be seen here. The color on some of the artworks is amazing. It looks like it has been painted yesterday and not centuries ago.

Grayson PovExam time is here and I have never been this stressed out. These past 2 weeks I have been staying in and studying as much as I possibly could. My mind is numb and I can't take in any more information. That, however, didn't stop me from trying.This morning on my way to the university, I did try to learn some more. Like I said before, it did not work.Now, I am sitting in front of my exam paper, waiting for the test to start. I am feeling confident in my knowledge. There is no way that I am not going to pass. Grayson POVExams are finally over. I have never been this happy about anything in my life. I am 4 weeks behind schedule in my travel plans, but I am glad I stayed in Germany until exams were over.It is currently vacation, and I am on my way back home. Grayson PovI open my eyes. I am drenched in sweat from the nightmare that I had. I turn around to lay on my back, but I feel a body behind me.I turn around slowly and see that Evie has climbed into bed with me. She has tear stains on her face.
