Alex's POV

“Briana is alive?” I mumbled as I stumbled back, my hands quivering.

My eyes lit up slightly. “My Briana? Where's she?” I asked Claudia.

If I could see her alive, just once, then maybe the guilt I had carried for many years would fade away.

I need to find her, right away. Claudia shouldn’t be lying with me, If she was, I would kill her immediately.

Claudia rolled her eyes. “I do not know where–” I cut her off as I hit my hand on the locker, she closed her eyes and flinched. “Please.”

“Are you messing with me?” I asked her. “If Briana is alive, you better show me where she is.”

“Why?” she asked. “You shouldn’t want her anymore, you have me.”

I ran my hand through my hair. “Claudia, I don’t want her, but I need to see her. For so many years, she left me thinking she was dead and I was responsible for it. I have to know what the fuck happened to her.”

Claudia gulped. “Okay.”

“I do not know, Alex. I swear.”
