Chapter 20 I AM a battery!

Soon, it was Saturday morning. And Scarlett was nervous as well as excited to meet Gabrielle. She didn't know what was waiting for her but she only could hope for the best.

Standing in front of the mirror she looked at herself from top to bottom. Wearing a mint-white combined casual outfit with a messy bun and silver-rimmed glass.

"Not going in the office for a meeting. So, this is good enough."

A few minutes later, hearing the doorbell, Scar opened the door to find Gabrielle's assistant.

"Good Morning, Miss O'Dean. I am Luigi and sent by the young master to pick you up." He introduced himself. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yes." Scarlett nodded and followed Luigi to the car.

The car was the new version of the Mercedes-Benz, leaving her in awe. Though she didn't have any doubt of Gabrielle being super rich.

And then she was taken to the beautiful manor. It's the same one from before where they went for the meeting and she got the project.
