Clarissa pushed her hair up and used a rubber to pack it in a ponytail. Then, she settled for a pink shirt and a white flannel shirt. It was alright now. Maybe, she should go outside or something.She made a move to leave when she saw something like a kite flying up her window. A frown tugged at her lips. She and Archer were the only ones here, and he was out of the house, so who would be flying kites now? Was that spooky woman a part of it?One, two, and three more kites were enough to gnaw at her insides. She ran down the stairs and into the sunny light. Clarissa and Archer were buried under the duvet naked under the clear blue sky later that evening. Their bodies were entwined together as one, and their laughter rose to unimaginable crescendos.“Oh, my goodness! That was funny. I can literally imagine Sam tripping. Eh, no! I can’t!” Clarissa announced with a high-pitched laugh.They laughed harder. Clarissa turned to Archer, rubbing her hands on his bare chest. Archer used his middle finger to steer her lips towards him as he kissed her heartily on the lips. Her hair was damp to her forehead, and her lips were out in an unnatural light. Clarissa tossed and turned on the bed, her hands twisting on the bedsheet, trying to dispel the dream, but it chased her along.She could see the images of that wall come to life in her mind. It was acute and poignant, and she almost felt that she was there with the witches. She wanted to get out of there, and breathe, but she felt trapped.“Don’t hurt me,” one of the witches cried.But, a couple of men who were shapeshifting like it was so much fun, stepped in and he’d them to their death. They were either staked or burnt alive. There was no in-between. It was mostly dying, or you still die. It didn’t matter which method was used, all they cared about were the same results.The shouts, screams, and pain, melded into Clarissa’s soul as one. She tried to reach out to them, but it was like a glass separated them from her. She didn’t have an idea what she was going to do to make their pains better.She tried

“You’re not going to get the big fish, I am,” Clarissa shouted.She had her legs deep in the water, with the hook into the fish. It seemed to weigh so much because she found it difficult to pull it out at first, but slowly, it was easier to pull out.“Look at you,” Archer teased laughing.She rolled her eyes at him. “Come on. This weighs a ton. Do you expect me to easily pull it out?”He smirked. “You can do anything that you set your mind on if you believe,” he teased.She laughed softly. “You know you always know how to tease me,” she accused.He leaned closer and pecked her on the lips. “That’s my department. I can’t do without it.”Together, they were able to get the fish out. Archer and Clarissa laughed so hard when they found out that Clarissa’s fish didn’t weigh much at all. It was getting late, so she needed a torch, and the only one available was her phone torch. Clarissa also knew she had limited time because Archer had gone to town in his wolf and not his human form. He would be here at any moment, and whatever the spooky woman wanted to pass across would be lost.If Archer and the history she read were correct, she would definitely find something here that will guide her to the truth. She had no idea what the truth was, but whatever it was, she hoped she would be ready to brace it bravely.Clarissa switched on the torch as she walked deeper into the cave. Unlike the previous time, it was so dark here. She suddenly wished she had the spooky woman to shine her through, but she didn’t so that was ok too. She walked deeper till she came to a spot that led to nothing. Too scared to go further, she turned to the walls. Archer watched Clarissa from where she stood. For some reason, she looked shocked and slightly frightened by what she was going through. He didn’t have any idea how to make her feel better, but he could see that she was almost climbing the car in a panic.“Are you ok?” Archer asked softly, not taking a step towards her, afraid that she might hurt herself in the process.“Who are you?” She asked tentatively.He rolled his eyes. “Who is the man that had been holding, and kissing you all along, and went fishing with you? The drive home was quick and fast. Archer packed by the side of the building, and Clarissa got out. He could see the smile on her face that they were finally back at her apartment. She was beyond elated and happy about it.Without getting her bags, she ran to the door. Archer was behind her, trying to bring out the bags from the car boot when he heard a scream. He abandoned the items and ran towards the house.“What’s wrong?” Archer asked immediately as he got to her.She said nothing, as she pointed at the space. His eyes shifted from hers to the surroundings. Everywhere was a mess, and all her furniture and things were turned upside down. Archer blinked in shock. Who could have done this to her?
