Amelia's POV

It had not been so long since I slept before I started hearing voices in my sleep.

Seriously, who was disturbing my sleep? I almost cussed out.

I tried to block out the voices but they didn't seem to be going away. Like that wasn't enough, I started hearing footsteps as well and I opened my eyes in anger.

I looked around and realized where I was. I looked around in the direction of the footsteps and saw the back of a person. A male to be precise.

And I know this much. That would be William, so I tried to call out to him.

"Wi- William?", I stammered. I haven't gotten used to calling his name out loud, moreover to him.

He stopped in his tracks and turned to look at me with a frown.

"I see you are awake", he said, still frowning.

I went silent for a while before I talked as calmly as I could.

"I have to talk to you," I said and I could see that he was quite taken aback.
