Chapter 26
Everything is back to normal for Brieanna. She went to work before William could even offer her to give her a ride. She doesn't want a ride, she just wants to explore more the road she takes. Not everyone gets a chance escape such situations.
Entering the resort, she meets Richard who was with his surfboard. This happens often but this time, she wants to start greeting him with the same energy he puts.
"Good morning, Richard!" she greeted, earning a raised brow from him.
"Good morning. Someone's kind of in a good mood. I wonder what happened," he said, giving a lopsided smile.
"Thank you for calling William. You saved me."
"I could have done better but I didn't know. I'm glad you are back safe."
"Practicing again?" She looks at the board he is holding on his side. "I might join you one day with Evie."
"Yeah. And I'll look forward to that. Just make sure I ain't gone by the time you decide to do it," he uttered, softly laughing.

Brieanna was upset with William that she didn't laid eyes on him anymore and just marched towards her room and slam it close, diving into her bed. Evie is on her way to the public beach when she came pass Dianne. That trouble maker is three years younger than her who acts like a know-it-all bitch. It made her scoff as she walk pass the girl. Brieanna was on her way out of the resort when she saw the lady she adores, slightly bending over like she's looking for something. She would not mind helping the lady out so she approached her. Unlike the usual time Brieanna goes in for work, today, she was earlier than the old days. It might be because she's excited about the Funfair her and William yelled at each other about that night. The days passed by fast. Lately, Brieanna and William hasn't been seeing each other often even though they live in the same house.
