Brieanna came to the party late and with sleepy eyes from crying. Kendal then asked her if she was alright and she nodded slowly. Even Aunt Mary double asked her if she was really alright. 

"I'm fine, Auntie. I just had a little trouble while saying my goodbyes to Kirby," she reassures them with a smile. "I'm sorry I was still late."

"Oh no worries," Kendal uttered, making an 'it's not a big deal' face, "I told you, you can be late this time."

Brieanna looks around and noticed a lot of friends and relatives really came for the opening, some she doesn't even know. The ribbon cutting must have ended since she was late and food was being served already.
