Star of the Night!

“My hot future Alpha is coming! Be ready to make him feel home” said Lily with a wide grin.

“He is not coming here to marry. I will try to make everyone from their pack especially the Alpha and Luna to feel home. Now, get out of my way” I said moving away from the betrayer who gave me only half of the news.

“Oh, come on. It will be fun. We need to surround ourselves with good looking company. I mean good company” said Lily with a small chuckle.

It wasn’t a slip of tongue, it was slip of truth!

“Be a little gentle and get ready to greet your future brother-in law” said Lily jumping like happy fluff ball.

“Whatever! Stop following me! I am done talking to you!” I said running away from her.

“Listen to me! the hotiiee alpha..” shouted Lily following me to nag me more.

One week later,

I woke up early in the morning to get ready for the ‘big day’, The day of the Merge. From today onwards I and my whole pack have to bear the burden of dealing with Moonshine for God knows how long. I was helping my mom whole day for their accommodation.

Around 6 my mother kicked me back to get ready in my room for the formal party that my parents arranged for our guests.

I took a quick shower again and came out to see a champagne colored mermaid lacy gown lying on my bed rent free. It was beautifully embellished with rhinestone of the same color. There was also a belt of the same color rhinestone to complete the look. The dress was just gorgeous after all it was my mother’s choice.

I was blessed with good looks and height as I inherited the best genes from my parents.

Since, I was young, I have been called the most beautiful girl from our entire pack and also from some adjacent packs, which always helped to keep up my confidence. Nobody was ever rude to me for not changing. All I ever heard from people were compliments.

I wore the dress and surprisingly it fit perfectly and even had a slight trail. I walked in front of the mirror to take a good glance at me but I almost tripped because my leg tugged in the dress.

“Oh sh*t!” I cursed the length.

The dress was fitting perfectly at my curve, making me look even more curvy than I already am. I am not too curvy but I have a beautiful hourglass figure.

The color of the dress was going well with my pale skin tone and even complimenting my amber eyes and golden-brown color hair. I was not wearing any make up and still, it was making me look this pretty.

Just at this moment, the door of my room opened and my mother entered.

 “WOW” slipped her mouth.

“Thanks mom” I replied almost immediately.

‘Being hungry for compliments is a female’s nature’ I thought grinning.

“My shopping worked! You look incredible!” said my mother taking her time to observe me in her ‘successful shopping’.

“Stop it, mother. You are making me blush!” I said hiding my strawberry red cheeks by covering my face between my palms.

“Aww, my beautiful baby” said my mother lovingly.

“Keep your hair open and come down. They are already here. Your father will start the introduction soon, you must be there during that session” said my mother as she left.

I did a light makeup as I did not want to draw more attention than the dress is already doing. I left my hair open as my mother suggested.

I was just about to go down when the door of my room opened with a thud and black cursed cat crossed my road.

“Oh My! You look unbelievably magnificent and beautifully elegant” said Lily with a whistle.

This girl knows how to compliment!

“Thanks..” I was about to reply to her kind compliment, but she didn’t let me finish.

 “And a liar said that she is not interested in my hottie Alpha” said Lily while raising her left eyebrow and looking at me like a traitor.

“I am still saying it! I have no interest in your hottie Alpha. The dress and the hair were my mother’s choice. All I did was to get in the dress and did a light make-up” I said crossing my arm on my chest, hurt by the false accusations.

Then I noticed her black bodycon dress with heavy jewelry and smoky makeup probably to snatch attention of that weird future Alpha.

“And why did you decorate yourself like a Christmas tree?” I asked with narrowed eyes,

“To grab his attention, Duhh!” she replied shamelessly.

Honesty is in her Blood!

“Okay. Whatever. Let’s go down” I said in a casual tone while taking her hand.

But she removed my hand immediately.

“Not with you, princess of Agrabah! You are stealing my limelight. I will go first and then you will follow. Am I clear?” asked Lily in b*tchy tone while keeping some distance from me.

At this point, I was done arguing for nothing, I already had enough of everyone, so, I just nodded before replying,

“Alright. You go first, Your Majesty”

“That’s more like it” said Lily grinning like a Cheshire cat.

She went down and texted me to come down immediately.

When I was moving down from the stairs, everyone started staring at me with admiring expressions.

‘Looks like my mother’s choice is getting more attention that I calculated’ I thought in surprise.

I was adjusting my dress as I didn’t want to step on my own dress and trip on my face in front of a room full of people.

Suddenly, I felt a strong presence and looked up only for my eyes fell to on a handsome guy in the entire universe.

‘Oh my!’

He was not a normal handsome guy, he was the most handsome guy I have ever seen with my sinful eyes! He was the kind of guy I imagined my wolf-mate would look in his human form!

The guy looked at me and a “Wow!” skipped his mouth which I shouldn’t have noticed but I did and my cheeks started burning instantly.

Our eyes met and interlocked at the same time and were admiring each other when all of a sudden, my view was blocked, thanks to my other bestie, Liam, who came to help me as a gentleman.

Liam extended his hand for me and I took with a small smile. My eyes fell on the handsome stranger again but he looked away in annoyance and disappointment.
