My alarm's bothersome sound rung through my room, bouncing from wall to wall and interrupting my slumber. Without giving it much of a second thought, I grabbed my alarm and smashed it against the wall. It fell, shattering into a few dozen pieces.
There goes another one. I sighed, relishing in the sweet silence. I had a horrible habit of breaking my alarm clocks. My dad was getting tired of replacing my alarm clocks every week.
I had good reasons for breaking my alarms I swear. One, although I usually didn't remember what it was about exactly, the alarms kept interrupting my dreams. And second, they are annoying.
I grudgingly made my way out of bed, tripping on my way to the bathroom conjoined with my room.
"Tripping delivers you faster to your destination." That's what they say, I suppose or I was just an incredibly clumsy person.
I got into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a nice, long relaxing bath.
I wasn't really a shower person. Now, hear me out. What if I fall in the shower and die? That had to be one of my biggest fears. Slipping in the shower, dying and someone finding me naked. I wasn't insecure about my body, in fact I didn't really care who saw me naked.
What I was afraid of was what people would do when they saw found me naked.
I have a really good body, it was in the top ten bodies in the entire pack. I wasn't insinuating that my pack had necrophiliacs but you'd honestly never know what horniness could do to a person.
Horniness was as strange as it was beautiful. You could never know what it would make a person do. Of course, we can't blame everything on horniness. A person had much to do as the horniness does.
Mates were the horniest people you'd ever meet, going at it anywhere and anytime without much of care for anything else, especially newly mated. If mates could do it as much as they did, what else could horniness do to a person? Better safe than sorry is what I say.
I got out of the bathtub, loosely wrapping a towel around my waist before making my way to my room. I wasn't really fond of using towels. Goddess Nadia gave me and what Goddess Nadia gave me, I shall not hide.
Art is meant to be displayed and my body was the greatest piece of art I ever owned. It was beautiful, was that conceited? Probably.
'Brian, I need you to come to my office.' Our Alpha's voice boom in my head cutting off my train of thought.
Mind linking was the ability werewolves possessed that enabled them to communicate with each other through their minds. The communication was easier and free from the bounds of limit that other communications methods were under. It was both a blessing and a curse.
With years of practice, some werewolves were able to block out interference from their kins, allowing but a few to freely communicate with them. Other werewolves such as myself were considered lucky as they were born with what was termed the 'barrier'.
The barrier was sort of a sheild that acted as a communication interference system, blocking out any unwanted communication. The barrier allowed only the higher ups the ability to break through.
My case was rare. Not only was I a soon to be eighteen year old possessing a barrier, I could control it full blocking out even the higher ups. Be it king or Alpha.
I was however forbidden from using it against Ian, he wanted to be connected to be at all times lest I be in danger.
'Ugh, what does he want now?' I questioned myself in annoyance, purposefully ignoring the fact that he can hear what I am thinking. The Alpha annoyed me with his random summons. A conversation we had time and time again. He wouldn't stop with these impromptu summons and that irritated me.
'I heard that.'
'Oops, forgot.' I said with an eye roll.
'Just come to my office, Brian.' He sighed in defeat and annoyance.
I went over to my closet and picked out my outfit which was a black and red band tshirt with black, tight skinny jeans and black and red Converses.
I then went to Alpha Ian's office. "Sup dad, Kyle." I said, greeting them.
Kyle was my dad's mate. Although, he wasn't my mom or anything like that. He was three years older than me.
Kyle was five foot seven with brown skin and shoulder length curly hair that he kept tied in a low hanging bun. His eyes were golden, his teeth white with a gap in between the upper teeth.
Yeah, I'm the Alpha's son, if that wasn't as clear as I think it to be. It was not fun, I will tell you that much or maybe it's that I just disliked my dad. It was nothing personal really, it was just business. Pack business.
"Kyle, Brian I want you both to welcome the guests." He said, making me groan in disapproval.
"I do not feel like meeting new people, my dear father." I said, leaning against the wall opposite to Kyle. "Oh, quit your whining, my dear son. It will be worth it." He said making me glare at him. The last time he said that I almost got eaten by a bear. I honestly don't even want to elaborate on that, too traumatic in my case.
"I am not the one who invited them." I said, crossing my arms and leaning against the wall.
"Brian, they are guests. They aren't supposed to be invited." Said Kyle, amusement tugging at his tone.
"Kyle, I didn't realize that you were still here." I said, rolling my eyes. "Your presence is so irrelevant, it sometimes make you seem almost invisible."
Kyle and I were at each other's throats more often than not with us spending two thirds of the time around each other bickering. Ours was confusing. We argued as often as we breathed around each other yet I still respected him as my dad's mate and the strongest Luna I had ever met.
Kyle was strong but with Ian, he was unstoppable. He cared for me as his own, sometimes forgetting that there's merely a three year gap between us. He was way too overprotective of me if I do say so myself.
"Wow, you're sarcastic, aren't you?" He asked, crossing his arms against his chest. Ian's phone rung, interrupting our bickering.
"So, it turns out that you're going to have to greet the guests by yourself." Ian said with a brief shrug of his shoulders as he finished his phone call.
"What? Why?" I asked, starting to panic. I was never a fan of meeting new people. Having to keep up the perfect Alpha's son persona around them drained my energy and tired my soul.
"The Wild Creek pack needs our help." Ian replied, his voice cool and unbothered. "You have Greg, calm down." Kyle said, amused. My suffering was his joy.
"Okay, when are you leaving?" I asked, trying my hardest to keep my cool. "In thirty minutes." Ian replied with a defeated sigh. "Thirty minutes?!" I exclaimed in shock, that was nearly not enough time to prepare myself properly.
"Gee, thanks guys for giving me so much time to mentally prep my self." I said, rolling my eyes and shaking my head.
"You have been a beta since you were fifteen, Brian." Kyle bemused with a shake of his head.
Yeah, I was young. Long story short, my uncle who had been the Beta then, his wife and his daughter all died in a pack fire so I had to step in and be the Beta in his place.
Being the Alpha's son meant a lot of people had way too high expectations of you and from you. Being the Alpha's son meant dead people's mess were yours for the cleaning. I was not the one who told my uncle to die and leave his burden to a fifteen year old.
My birthday is in three days though. I'll be turning eighteen and I'll finally be able to find my mate.
I can't stand Ian and Kyle, don't mistake this for jealousy.
They are the ultimate couple goals and we all loved them but come on, watching your dad sucking faces with a guy that's practically your around your age was very unsettling. One might even say it was gross.
"What if I screw up or say something stupid?" I asked, drinking my dad's long forgotten orange juice. I wasn't sure if it had long gone stale but I was too busy panicking to care.
"Knowing you, you will most likely screw up." Kyle said, his smirk as present as always. "Thanks for the motivation." I said, making him grin. "Any time." He said, his grin widening.
"Brian, but let's be honest here, you're made up of fifty percent sarcasm, twenty five percent homosexuality and twenty five percent stupidity. The likelihood of you saying something stupid is very very high." Said Ian, petting my head.
I gasped offended as I glared at their backs as they went out of the office, leaving me behind with my own thoughts.

Chapter 3 Brian We soon arrived at the Nightstar Howlers pack grounds and I had to say I was impressed. They had three pack houses, with the biggest in the middle. They were all four storeys tall with gorgeous Victorian design. "Care for a tour?" I nodded my head rapidly. I needed to explore these houses. It seemed like it had a lot to offer and that intrigued me. "I need to know more about these gorgeous houses." I said with a grin. The pack members looked at me in confusion. I was a blood sucker but I was also this ball of sunshine you longed to protect, according to most. Greg happily showed me around the pack grounds. They had their own training grounds, a huge pool as well as an outdoor basketball court. "It's amazing!" I exclaimed happily. "Can I move in?" I asked, bouncing happily with his hand in mine. The Werewolves in Greg's pack were shocked. This blood sucker who came out of nowhere was acting buddy buddy with their Alpha whom some o
Chapter 2 Brian I groaned as I opened my eyes, peeling myself off of Greg's warm bare chest. I lazily blinked, looking around for the blaring ringtone that came from my phone which had been the reason I was awa in the first place. I grabbed the phone, groaning as I answered the phone without looking at the caller ID. "What?" I snapped, sitting up and leaning on my free hand. Gregory groaned, wrapping his arms around my waist and burying his head on the lower of my back. I smiled softly at him, shaking my head. "Where the hell are you?" Lottie asked in a whisper yell. I groaned, sleep still clinging heavily to my eyes and entire body. What time was it? I asked myself with a yawn as I answered Lottie. "I'm at my house." I said, letting my eyes fully shut. It felt like heaven, being in Greg's arms. I almost forgot that I hated him. Almost. One couldn't really ever forget that a person upped and left right after they slept together with them. That
Chapter 1 Brian "Greg?" I asked in shocked, I couldn't believe that Greg was really here, standing in front of me. The ice cream bowl fell from my grasp, bringing us back to reality as it shattered into a million shards. ‘’What are you doing here?’’ I asked, moving back so he’d enter. I grabbed a broom and cleaned up the shards and spilt ice cream, stalling our confrotation as much as I could. No one could – should – blame me, it had been five years since I last saw him and last I heard of him he was the King of the werewolf. I didn't know what I was even going to say to him. I joined him on the couch, keeping my distance from him. ‘’Nice place, the design looks great.’’ Greg said, earning a hum from me. And suddenly we were back at the early mating of Aaron and I where we longed for each other so but were too awkward around the other when we had to face him. It was horrible and I hated it. Almost as much as I hated Greg. Almost.
Brian's Inauguration "You summoned me." Brian said, gazing at the Higher Council with crimson eyes that were furious and blazing with hatred and anger. It infuriated him, the audacity they had to even begin to think that they deserved to be in presence when they were the ones who brought death to his mother. They felt no remorse, no shame. Of course they didn't, they were Vampires. Undead immortal sons of a mother with no heart that roamed the darkest of shadows of the night. Brian tsked, he will be the one to bring their deaths to them. An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A life for a life. "You reek of mutt." Vladimir, the oldest and strongest of them sneered. He had crimson blood eyes and pearly white fangs that were as long as mine and stood beautifully against his smooth bronze skin with a sh
Brian I woke up with a throbbing head and a dry sore throat. Kyle was humming a tune that sound too far away from a person who was kneeling by my bed, raking his fingers through my hair. Everything was blurry, with the room filling as though it was spinning. I groaned, shutting my eyes. "Brian, sweetie. Are you awake?" Kyle asked, his voice sounding far away. I blinked lazily, "S-So thirsty." I said, wincing at the excruciating pain that shot through my throat. How long was I asleep for? I sat up as best as I could, leaning my head against the headboard with my ears closed still. "Here, drink this and you'll be okay." Kyle said, gently putting a bag of liquid in my hand. "I put a straw in it so you can drink it like a lil' Caprisun." Kyle said. I nodded my head slowly, careful to not hurt it and worsen the
Greg I opened my eyes, lazily blinking as I fully came to. Brian was still sleeping on me, my knot had gone down I thought. His eyes were shut softly, lips parted slightly with soft breaths escaping them. I sighed, planting a sweet kiss on his cheek. I then gently flipped us so he was laying on the bed before I pulled out. My seed came flowing out of him, a smile etching itself on my face. Now I understood why Alphas were so smug after their Omega's heat. Seeing how much I had corrupted and wrecked mine filled me with a sense of pride I couldn't explain. I sighed sadly, as I grabbed a blanket and draped it over us. Now that I had tasted the forbidden fruit, I wanted more, more and more. I wanted to bite the fruit again, again and again. I wanted to touch him as much as he wished me to. I gazed at his sleepi
Smut Greg I peeled my eyes open, blinking lazily as I felt the morning sun rays that seeped in through the open window - most likely opened by Kyle when he came to check on us earlier - on my face. Brian was snuggled to my side, his fist clutching the hoodie I had been wearing as he peacefully slept. I smiled softly, raking my fingers through his hair to wake him up. Today was to be the onset of his heat wave, at least that's what I knew by Kyle's estimates. He didn't know the exact time it would start. What he knew however was that Brian's heat wave wouldn't last longer than a day. Be that as it may, I had to get both of us cleaned up and put him in the nest he had built earlier on as soon as possible. He slowly peeled his eyes open, rubbing sleep away from with his balled fist - the free one that wasn't holding on to my hoodie for dear life. I couldn't get over how breathtaking his eyes were. Brian's crimson eyes were as red as the blood he th
Greg ‘’Has he been like this since you found him?’’ Earl asked, turning Brian’s head this way and that way as he inspected him. ‘’Mmh.’’ I hummed, rubbing circles on my baby’s back who was sat on my lap. He laid his head on my shoulder as Earl let go of his head, his hand going to gently toy with Kyle’s long black hair who was sat next to me on the bed. ‘’It seemed as though that breaking his barrier sent him deeper into the headspace. He is now well and truly stuck in it.’’ I said, earning a nod from Earl. "He had a barrier?" Earl asked, gaining a nod of my head from me. "I see." He began. ‘’It was essential that you break his barrier. It would have been too dangerous to leave all his states co-conscious with each other. Hybrids are fragile cargo after all.’’ I bit my lip, my brows furrowing in worry. ‘’What do you mean by that?’’ I asked, my grip on Brian’s waist tightening in a possessive manner. Kyle took notice of this, smiling weakly as he distrac
