053 - A Beta's Fate, An Alpha's Destiny

In a matter of a day, I recovered from my near-death experience. I felt better as if no such thing had happened. And not just me, but Titan as well.

The sickness was still a mystery to all of us, but I didn’t want to question anything anymore. I felt good, but I knew it was still there and that I was running out of time, so every day that I woke up, I was grateful for the extended time.

Everyone around us was convinced that I was getting better, especially after Glenn confirmed that the mass vomited by Titan was the same thing inside his body. And that the one he had now was smaller than before.

Of course, there was a chance that I could let all of the masses out. But I was not letting my guard down. I knew that this happiness could be taken away at any time. But I kept up the facade that I believed them and that I was on my way to recovery.
