Chapter Two Hundred And Eighty-Eight

Maya sat in her little rented Ford, staring right ahead at the darkened building in front of her.

It was night time, and that time of the year where the wind was biting, and had people tightening ther jackets all around them every minute.

Maya tightened her own jacket herself, and let out a puff of frustrated breath as she sat in the driver seat of her car, staring right ahead at the decrepit building.

They said, this was where Scar normally hung out, away from the prying eyes of the authority and whoever was bold enough to want to stir up trouble.

The building in itself, was in a secluded part of town.

Not secluded really, just off limits.

Deep inside the city, and almost on the outskirts of town. There were a few buildings scattered here and there but its mostly huge factories and warehouses of some organization of some sort.
