The moment Marcus and Jason escaped through the service staircase, Jason's home was raided by gunmen. They burst through searching every inch.

"He is not here!" The men told their leader, a man in a dark camo print.

The man looked down at the plate of finished food on the table and the kitchen and frowned.

"He was just here. Canvas the area," he order and his men obeyed.

He took out his phone and called his employer.

"We did not get to him in time. He is gone," he said.

In the back seat of Marcus' car, Jason remained quiet. His eyes were glued to the city outside. They had barely escaped. As the car pulled away, he felt angry. The only reason he was in this situation was because of Marcus.

He did not want to look at him right now.

Marcus noticed his silence.

"No thank you?" Marcus asked and Jason suppressed his urge to jump him.

"The only thing keeping you alive right now is that gun, Mr Night," Jason said.

"Marcus," he corrected.

"What?" Jason asked.

"It's Marcus, not Mr Night. And there is no need to be salty about the gun."

"You lied about carrying it. You might have lied about the gunmen too. Who knows with you? But still want a thank you?" Jason asked.

"The gun was a different matter. I lied to calm you. I thought we still had time for me to convince you to come with me. Besides, the gun is not necessary when coming to visit you. Even without the gun, I can still kill you easily," Marcus said and Jason shivered and finally looked at him.

He met cold eyes that made him still.

"So you think you deserve a thank you," Jason said.

"I put my company reputation on the line to protect you. So yes," Marcus answered.

"What?"

"Why Else would I release incriminating documents about my company?"

Jason paused for a moment and sneered, "Bullshit!"

"You don't seem as grateful as I thought you would be," Marcus answered and looked out the window.

"I may not know you well, but I can still smell bullshit from a mile away. There is always an angle with you. Your reasons for tarnishing the reputation of your company is your own. Don't chain me to this," Marcus said.

"True, I do have my motives, but I had many ways to accomplish them. But I chose the one that protects you. You are not hard to find, Jason. But at least now, no one would think I have you," Marcus said.

"So you can cage me away somewhere with NK one looking then," Jason muttered.

"You really have a bad impression of me, don't you?" Marcus said. Jason could feel Marcus' eyes boring into the side of his face, but he refused to look his way.

The car returned to silence. Soon, they pulled upy at the docks. Noticing where they were, Jason frowned.

"This can't be your home, can it?" He asked and Marcus chuckled.

"I need to handle some transactions my little Lawyer," Marcus said and nodded to the driver.

Several cars pulled up behind them. Men in dark suits walked out first, before Marcus stepped out he door.

He held the door for Jason, who was reluctant to follow him. After muttering a curse under his breath, Jason stepped out of the car and followed them towards a container. As they approached, Jason could see men waiting there.

"You came yourself, Marcus. I am honored," a man leading the group said.

"We had a deal, didn't we?" Marcus asked.

"I heard you had been attacked, so I thought you would be too busy. But all is well, I hope?" The man asked.

Now close enough, Jason could see that the person speaking was wolf, whom he had met back in the club yesterday.

"Is it complete?" Marcus asked.

"Madam Lee sends her regards. She quite liked the present you sent her," Wolf said, exposing his white teeth.

"Alright. Hand over the merchandise," Marcus nodded to his men and large wooden crates were carried over.

"You deliver this to her. Tell her I sent a little extra. I want her to find me that package," Marcus said.

"Madame Lee did say to tell you she had it and would give it to you if you sweeten the pot. But I am not sure how sweet she wants it, so you two will need to meet. I will be indisposed for a while after this delivery," Wolf said.

"The little extra will be to her liking. I can't meet her for now. Too many eyes," Marcus said.

"What about the little Lawyer? He can be trusted to bring to you, right?" Wolf said looking at Jason.

Jason felt his heart stop for a second. He wanted no part in this.

"If he has some time, I could bring him to meet madam Lee. Unless the lawyer has somewhere to be," Wolf said.

Jason wanted to protest.

"There and back. No funny business," Marcus agreed before Jason could react.

"My men will take you there and bring you back. If she likes what she sees, she will give you something bring it with you," Marcus ordered Jason and walked away without a word. Before Jason could process what was happening, Marcus had entered his car and driven away.

Jason went blank as Marcus' men led him to another car and he got in. Jason could not breathe. His hands trembled slightly. He was not sure where he was being taken.

A lot of things crossed his mind as the car moved forward. It was a thrifty minutes drive over, and the more time ticked on, the greater his fear.

He cursed Marcus in his head as the car cam to as stop before a brutalist style building.

He was led inside with Marcus' men.

A small Asian woman stepped down from the staircase and looked at the men.

"Marcus came?" She asked.

"No Madam Lee. He sent his man though. He said he added a little extra. Something you will love. He asked about a package. He sent his man here to bring the package to him if you liked what you saw," Wolf said, gesturing towards Jason, as the crates were carried in.

"Oh?" Madam Lee asked and hurried down the stairs as her long robe swooped around her.

"Open them," she ordered and Marcus' men opened the wooden crates. The moment Jason turned as set eyes on the inside of the crates, he froze.

Each large crate held a fully grown naked bloody man.

  • Under Silk Sheets   Taking Dr Martin

The President's eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the harsh fluorescent lights of the hospital room. His throat was dry, his head pounded, and every breath felt like effort. For a moment, he couldn't remember where he was or what had happened. Then the memories came flooding back. The meeting at the Estelle Gang building. The explosion. The heat and smoke. The feeling of suffocating before everything went dark."Mr. President." A familiar voice spoke from beside his bed.The President turned his head slowly to see his Chief of Staff, Michael Rhodes, sitting in a chair beside him. Rhodes looked exhausted, his suit rumpled, his face drawn with stress."Michael," the President managed to croak out. "Water."Rhodes quickly poured water from a pitcher and helped the President drink. After a few sips, the President felt slightly better, though his body still ached terribly."How long was I unconscious?" the President asked."Three days, sir," Rhodes replied. "The doctors weren't sure when or

The President remained unconscious at Walter Reed Medical Center, surrounded by Secret Service agents and military security. Doctors released brief statements about his condition - stable but critical, no immediate danger, but no signs of waking up anytime soon. While the President lay silent, unable to explain or defend himself, the nation erupted in fury. The media coverage was relentless. Every network, every newspaper, every online platform carried the story continuously. The footage of the President being carried from the Estelle Gang building played on an endless loop, analyzed frame by frame by experts and commentators."This is the most significant political scandal in American history," declared one historian on MSNBC. "Watergate, Iran-Contra, none of them compare to this. The President was found in a drug cartel headquarters. The implications are staggering."CNN brought in former prosecutors and intelligence officials to discuss the legal ramifications. "If the President wa

General Bradford stared at the unconscious President, his mind racing through the implications of what they had discovered. Around him, his soldiers stood frozen in shock, their training momentarily forgotten in the face of this impossible reality."Sir," Lieutenant Morrison said quietly, breaking the silence. "How do we get him out of here without anyone noticing?"The question hung in the air. The building was surrounded by media, emergency services, and law enforcement. Every exit would be watched, every movement documented. How could they possibly evacuate the President of the United States from a burning drug cartel headquarters without the world finding out?"We need to move quickly," Bradford said, forcing himself to focus. "The building could collapse at any moment. Get stretchers ready. We carry both of them out.""But sir," Sergeant Davis protested, "what happens to us after we leave this building? We've seen... we know..."His voice trailed off, but everyone understood what

The explosion tore through the Estelle Gang building with devastating force. The first eight floors were completely consumed by the blast, turning the lower section of the structure into a hellscape of twisted metal, shattered concrete, and raging fire.On the ninth floor, gang members were thrown to the ground by the shockwave. Alarms blared throughout the building as emergency lights flickered to life. The entire structure shook violently, and for a terrifying moment, it seemed like the building might collapse entirely.Carlos Estelle, the younger brother of the gang's leader Micheal Estelle, pulled himself up from the floor where he had been thrown by the blast. His ears were ringing, and smoke was beginning to fill the hallway."What the hell was that?" one of his men shouted over the chaos."Explosion on the lower floors!" another gang member yelled. "The whole bottom of the building is gone!"Carlos grabbed his radio. "This is Carlos! All units, report status!"Static and panick

Marcus sat in his secure office, staring at the information Old Madam Kent had provided. River City. The Estelle Gang compound. A meeting with a cartel executive. It all seemed too convenient, but his instincts told him it was real.He picked up his encrypted phone and called Evan Mathews.Evan answered on the second ring. "Marcus. You are becoming a fixture on my phone, I don't like it.""I need you to confirm something for me," Marcus said without preamble. "The Estelle Gang in River City. Do they currently have a foreign guest they're hosting?""You must think I work for you," Evan said but Marcus waited for his reply."What?" Evan asked after a sigh. He knew they all had a stake in taking down the Mastermind, so he cooperated."Information from Old Madam Kent," Marcus explained. "She claims the mastermind behind the five families will be at the Estelle Gang compound to meet with this guest. I need to know if she's telling the truth or setting us up."Even was quiet for a moment."
