Chapter Nine

NANCY'S POV

I'm not sure how long I was out for, but I was very delirious when I came to and my eyes hurt too much to keep open.

My head hurt and I could hear voices around me, even though I couldn't make out what was being said.

I wanted to wake, I tried to, but it was taking too much energy to even do that.

And slowly I lost and went crawling back into the welcoming arms of oblivion again.

The next time I came to, the voices in the room were gone and there was pin drop silence.

This time I was more determined to stay awake and I wanted to have my eyes open while at it.

My head hurt as I moved it.

Slowly, I drew my eyelids apart, opening my eyes for the first time since I've been out.

My mind was fuzzy as my eyes took in my surrounding but I knew one thing for sure, this wasn't my room.

At least, not the one I'd be
