Chapter Thirty One
AARON'S POV
Somehow, being with her and listening to her seemed to be what I'd needed this night.
I'd come into her room with every intention of banishing the demons of her nightmare but as I sat holding her small figure, her intoxicating scent flirting with my senses, it was mine getting put to rest.
It was there, everything I shouldn't be feeling, and I came closest to believing what Aragon has been throwing at me.
Maybe she's our mate, maybe the moon goddess did out do herself this time.
Not that it makes any sense and neither do I plan to do anything about it even if it's true.
It did feel good allowing myself think about what it'd feel like to give in to the mate bond with this little firecracker.
But it'd be best for the both of us if I stay away and ignore the pull I feet towards her petite sweetness.
I didn't have to look to know that she's finally fallen asleep again, hopefully this one will go without the nightm
