BLAIR“Stay calm.”Mikayla gives me her ‘don't play with me’ looks as she utters that command. Not having anything better to say, and not really wanting to push her. I pout and nod slowly. He watches me for a second more before turning and heading to the door.I hold my breath when I hear the sound of the lock disengaging and her pulling the door open. The man, who in all honesty, I didn’t expect to come back or listen to us, walks in.He is wearing a suit, navy blue and a white dress shirt. His hair is combed back, somehow making his eyes look brighter than they already are.He nods in acknowledgment when he sees me and I just stare at him dumbly.I really don’t know what to tell him.I have no idea why he is here. Wait, I do. But I don’t want him to be.I need more time to stew and think this over. But Mikayla and Sasha both insisted it is best I speak to him and get this out of the way.He takes the seat on the other side of the room, where he is facing me. I deftly turn away, cros
LUCIANOwen shakes his head when he sees me approaching.“It didn’t go well?” He asks.I grumbled. Annoyed he would ask that when he clearly knows it didn't.I move and get into the passenger seat. I’d been the one to drive us when we got here. Right now, I think I might run us into a wall. And he doesnt deserve that, even if he is getting on my last nerve.“She told me she was pregnant.”I said to him as he started the car.“Yes, but you already knew that.” He replies, shooting me a glance to confirm if I remember.“Yes. She doesn't know that.” I mutter, tracing my bottom lip with my thumb. “And I couldn’t exactly tell her I knew.”When we went back to the hotel last night, I was able to think about it with a clear head. First, I couldn’t let her know I knew she was pregnant. It seems suspicious that I know. Because then, how did I find out?I can’t exactly tell her I used my werewolf abilities and spied on her, then I eavesdropped on her conversation. That sounded weird, even to me.
BLAIRI had nothing better to do after breakfast but lay in my bed and think about my conversation with that man. With mum gone and busy with her work, dad at the office and my sister away. I heard she would be here for dinner, which is usual for us. I was alone for the rest of the day.I would have liked to hang out with a few of the girls I knew from high school. I wouldn’t say I exclusively liked them, but I didn’t outrightly dislike them, so that’s a plus.Mikayla is usually busy on our first day back and Sasha will be rearranging her room and planning how to renovate it to fit whatever era she is in.In short, I’m left to myself and my thoughts. Thinking of socializing made me realize daydreaming and reeling over what happened with that man, isn’t that bad.I really need to figure out his name, or give him one.It is just that, when I think of him, the first thing that comes to my hair is those blue eyes.So freaking bright.I felt he didn’t deserve it. Everything else about him
BLAIRDrinks with Helena turned into ice cream and tears.
BLAIR“Blair sweetheart, you’ve met Grayson, right?”
LUCIANOwen returns with two coffee mugs in his hand. He hands one to me while he carries his to the chair that is facing the one I’m sitting on.
BLAIROn my third day back home, the girls and I decided to meet to discuss very important things. Aka, my pregnancy and baby daddy.
BLAIRI could almost taste the doom waiting for me as I approached the house.
