Chapter 47
Maya giggled and hoped on my bed.
"What's happening?" She asked, poking my ribs.
"Stop poking me." I whined and Cameron kept the bowl on my bed then left Maya and I alone.
She stopped poking and lowered her gaze to my bed. The happy mood dropped and I wondered if I was too rude when I asked her to quit the poking.
"What's wrong?" I asked, sounding a little worried.
"Nothing." She shrugged. "Just- it's nothing serious."
"Maya... Please." I shook her lap. "You can tell me anything."
"Well, there's something coming up." She started. "I don't think you can go after what happened, but I came up with a crazy idea yesterday."
"What idea?"
"Maybe if you attend today's party, you might bond with Andre or make Bellamy jealous by frolicking with him."
"Nice..." I stroked my chin and a smug grin was etched to my face.

I rested my back on the bench that was beside the principal's office and tapped my fingers impatiently on it, waiting for Andre to come out from the place I dreaded.
