I was pacing all morning, I missed talking to mom about everything. But the whole me dating Nate was something I couldn't just talk to her about it. especially cause he's older than me.

"You know what, whatever happens, I know I have you. So here goes nothing." I told Nate.

"I'll give you some privacy. I'm going to buy some chocolates." He pecked my lips and then left the room.

I dialed her number and then paced some more.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom, It's Selena." I enable the camera.

"Little monkey, I miss you. When are you coming back?"

"In three days, I have some news. But I prefer to tell them in person."

"So, how is it going with Nate in Paris?" She gave me a look.

"You know I'm not in Hawaii?"

"We know, your dad is not happy." She sighed.

"I love my dad, but Nate is my happiness. I think I deserve to be happy."

"Yes, you do. I wasn't thrilled at first, but I don't want to lose you, Nate is a great guy." She smiled as I smiled too.
