21-Issues

The next day, I went to work. Except I woke up late and traffic was crazy. Hopefully my boss won't get mad. He hates tardiness.

"Miss. Jacobs. You're late. And you know what that means?" My boss said.

"That you will give me a second chance?"

"No, you're fired!"

"I was just twenty minutes late."

"Well, I don't tolerate tardiness. Now get the fuck out of my studio." He grabbed my arm really hard and push me out of his studio. I fell on the floor. He entered immediately.

"What the-" I looked up to see dad.

"Hey dad." I tried so hard to not cry.

"What happened? and no lies."

I told him what happened and he was not happy. I tried to stop him but he went inside and..

"No one fucking treats my daughter that way! I'll make sure you get what you deserve!" With that said, he punched him.

He took me to the hospital just to make sure the baby and I were okay. And indeed, we were. Lucky the fall wasn't too hard and I didn't land on something sharp.
