5-Best Friends

I turned on the TV and watched a movie. An hour later, there was a knock on the door. I went to opened it and it revealed him.

"Hey bestie." I smiled. He just laughed. I motioned him to come in and was met by a very loud scream. 

"You're Damon!" Sarah yelled. The Lungs this girl has.

"Nice to meet you." He said while shaking her hand. She was starstruck.

There was a knock on the door and Sarah went to open it. "Hey gorgeous." He pulled her into a kiss.

"Hey, handsome." She smiled against his lips. They walked to the living room and when he saw Damon.

"Damon my man, it's been 5 years."

"Too long right?" Damon chuckled as he got up and gave Jack a bro hug. I was lost.

"You two met before?" I asked them.

"Yeah, Damon and I grew up together. But when my parents got a job raise, we moved to New York. Now we're back and never going away." Jack replied.

"Now I'm very hurt that you replaced me with Bailey as your best friend." He feigned being hurt. Damon just laughed. 

"So Bailey bee, you're the new face paparazzi wants to attack." Jack mentioned.

"Don't remind me. I have no idea how my bestie here." I pointed at Damon, "does it?" I sighed.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I didn't know paparazzi were hiding in your front yard." He answered sheepishly.

"That's okay. As long as your interview clears me. I'm good."

"It will, I think." He grinned. I just shook my head.

"Well, since we're stuck here, cause paparazzi followed me. Sorry Sarah for the Intrusion." She just chuckled. "how about we watch a movie. Haven't had a day of hanging out with friends. The cast members are nice, but I need normal people to hang out." He commented.

"Well, welcome to the squad, bestie." I pinched his cheeks lightly. He just laughed. I never noticed how beautiful his green emerald eyes were. He was taller in person and very fit. Okay, snap out of it.

The guys wanted horror movies, I was on board, Sarah not so much. But luckily she has Jack to squeeze his hand.

Once the movie was over, Sarah was on top of Jack. We just laughed.

"Next time, comedy." She huffed.

Few minutes later, her parents and little sister entered the house. When she saw Damon she screamed. Then proceeded to hug his leg. She was Sophia's age.

"Hi there, little one. What's your name?" He asked while looking down to her.

"I'm Hazel." She smiled making him smile.

"Munchkin, let the man breathe." Sarah said as she picked Hazel. She pouted. She was so adorable. 

Their mom invited us for dinner. We said yes. Her cooking is so delicious. After dinner, it was time for Damon to leave. Said he promised Sophia to watch movies with her. Princess movies. I walked Damon to his car. At least the paparazzi went away.

"I had a great time, think we can hangout some more?" He asked.

"Yeah." I smiled. He left and I went back inside and was met by Jack and Sarah giving me suspicious looks.

"You're smitten with him." She smirked.

"He's a great guy. He's exactly your type." Jack chimed in.

"We're just best friends, according to him." I chuckled. "besides, he probably has a girlfriend. A famous one." I added.

"Well, it's been a while since I saw him smile like that. So I think he's smitten with you too." Jack told me.

"We just met yesterday. No one gets smitten that fast. I think."

"How would you know? You've never given a guy a chance." Sarah said with a smirk.

"Bite me." I rolled my eyes. She just laughed along with Jack.

Damon

I walked inside my house and Sophia jumped Into my arms. "Daddy, are you ready for some princess time." She smiled while lightly pinching my cheeks. Mom came out of the kitchen, she gave us a goodbye kiss then left.

"You bet I am." I put her down and then went to change into comfy clothes. I went outside and she was already watching the little mermaid. Her favorite. I sat next to her and she laid her little head on my shoulder.

"Daddy, I like Bailey. When can I see her again?"

"How about tomorrow. Her friend Sarah has a little sister about your age. Maybe you two can play." I answered.

"Yay, can't wait." She squealed.

Hey Bailey. I was wondering if we can meet tomorrow. For one, Sophia wants to see you and I told her that she could play with Hazel.

Consider it done. I'll meet you tomorrow at Sarah's house. We get off classes at 12 pm. So say 1 pm? We can order pizza for lunch. -Bailey

Had me at pizza. Thank you See you tomorrow.

I couldn't wait for tomorrow. Having normal friends to hang out, was such a great feeling. Hope to have more days like yesterday.
