Gwyneth We arrived at our territory, and we were all taken to the clinic. I didn't know how badly injured I was until the doctor attended to me. I was so broken, that I wasn't healing properly, and I needed help. Marcus's system was being flushed in another room. Mason was the only one in good shape, apart from his broken fist, which was almost fully healed. He stayed with me all night without saying a word. The man loved me deeply. It was just sad that I had met Marcus before him. I honestly hoped he would find someone that would love him as deeply as he loved. "How are you feeling?" he asked me with a smile on his face. "Better," I told him, but I was in severe pain. "How is he?" I managed to ask. "He is getting better. His system is trying to adjust. The doctor said it was good we found him when we did and took off the patches on his skin. He would have been permanently feral if all the drug had been released into his body through the patches."
