Betrayal
Judah watched in stony silence as Damon and Knox discussed Karistus and what the cleansing would mean for their kind. Dahlia was right. Lisa had turned Damon into a weak excuse for an Alpha, being dragged around by his balls-and Knox seemed content to walk right alongside him.
"Why are we doing this exactly?" He asked a little forcefully, "If she is who you both think she is, then Karistus is the Alpha of all Alphas. Doesn't that give her control over things? Why do we have to get involved in a battle that has nothing to do with us?"
Knox furrowed his brow and stared at Judah for a second, "Is everything alright?" He asked in concern, but Judah wasn't interested in playing nice anymore. He was sick of playing the third wheel while Alpha and Beta tiptoed around important issues.
"No, I'm fucking not alright!" He lashed out, and by the way, both sets of eyes changed color. It looked like he had pissed their wolves off. They were quick to remind him of his place.

It was two days before the luna spoke again. Knox loped alongside her, not forcing a conversation, just letting Lisa know he was there.
