Losing a friend.
Things were playing out exactly as Dahlia had hoped. Judah was easily the strongest fighter in Moon Valley, and she'd seen him put Damon on his arse many times. It was sickening how quickly the pack bowed down to that piece of trash, and she vowed that the first act she would sanction as the new Luna would be exiling Lisa Montgomery and her human family.
His warriors surrounded Judah as she approached him, sliding her arms around his waist, pressing her body against his back as she nibbled at his ear. Dahlia didn't care if the rest of the pack knew about their relationship anymore. Judah and his wolf were putty in her hands, and he was great in the sack, which was a bonus. When he won this challenge, Dahlia would rise to Luna, where she belonged, and Lisa would be left with a corpse to bury. It was two days before the luna spoke again. Knox loped alongside her, not forcing a conversation, just letting Lisa know he was there. Damon's words lay between them like a river of acid, the venom wreaking havoc on any new friendships, and Knox tried to figure a way past this.
