CHAPTER TEN 'The letter'

When Violet woke up she felt refreshed and energised unlike the previous day. She also noticed that she no longer felt conflicting energies in her veins. It was such a relief.

She spotted a letter on the table across her bed and internally appreciated Lance's kindness. He helped her. But she couldn't determine what his motive was.

As a goddess, she could easily figure it out but in her memories, she didn't understand how she was able to do such powerful things. She felt worn out. She didn't even know who she was.

She was about to break down when her thought shifted back to the letter.

She stood from the bed and grabbed the letter, reading the contents out loud.

Saintess,

There's fresh fruits in the kitchen. Please refrain from eating heavy meals untill I say so. Don't even think of leaving the house. See you tonight. Lance.

Violet scoffed. Who was he trying to boss around?

She was a goddess and a princess even though she wasn't entirely sure.

All she had to do was try to remember how to use her powers properly and start her life all over but she didn't want to. Living was too boring. She hated it.

But she had two influential identity. It would be a waste if she just died.

She sat on the floor, crossed legged in a meditative state, giving way for her body to adjust and enter a relaxing state.

***

In a serene environment, a goddess laid in a spring enjoying the beautiful landscape of birds in nature. She synced with their melodies and listened to the mortals wishes, granting one randomly.

Her body was kissed by the spring water and she smiled as the water danced beneath her hip, lightly tickling her.

Then she remembered the life of the killer as she listened to a certain Mistress's voice.

She was disgusted.

Violet opened her eyes and it glowed a darker purple shade.

“I am a god. I am Xenia and they will pay for what they did to me.”

She stood up from the ground, then smirked.
