Alpha Kelly’s Point of View

“Get a hold of her immediately!” I screamed as I saw her lose consciousness.

My whole body shivered...I didn’t want anything to happen to her.

Before I could finish my words, one of my guards picked her up from the ground, and we headed straight to my Pack hospital.

“Give her immediate treatment! Nothing must happen to her!”

The doctors and nurses immediately rushed to her.

I ordered that she be treated urgently.

Everyone was on deck, swiftly tending to her wounds.

“I’ve never seen Alpha Kelly in such a mood. The girl he rescued must be special to him,” I overheard two nurses whispering to each other, unaware that their voices were audible to me.

But they were wrong—I just wanted to save her.

When I first saw her, an unfamiliar feeling surged through me, something I’d never experienced before.

It felt strange.

Maybe this is what they talk about when you meet your mate.

“Hi, darling! You’re here! I heard you saved a girl in the jungle, so I came to check on you both!”

The voice was unmistakable—my fiancée, Calia.

Before I could say anything, she wrapped her arms around me.

I wasn’t in the mood.

“Honey? Kelly? Are you okay?” she asked, and though I wasn’t in the mood to comfort her, I opened my arms to return her hug.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” I muttered, but before I could finish, she walked away.

“I need to see the girl you saved that’s put you in this horrible mood!” she called over her shoulder.

I hadn’t realized my mood had shifted so noticeably.

Less than five minutes later, Calia returned, but this time her demeanor was different.

She looked somber, and it made me wonder why she had suddenly changed.

“I hope you return her to where you found her once she wakes up,” she said coldly, leaving without her usual hug or peck.

Strangely, I didn’t feel the need to question her sudden shift in attitude.

My thoughts were consumed by the girl I found among the animals—an Alpha wolf.

I wanted her to recover so I could learn where she came from.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching.

“Hi, Alpha Kelly,” Dr. Kent greeted me with a cheerful tone, which made me hopeful.

“She lost a lot of blood, but she’s conscious now, and I—”

“I need to see her immediately!” I interrupted and dashed toward the room before he could finish.

She was lying there, wrapped in white linen.

I couldn’t deny that she was beautiful, a sight that stirred something unfamiliar in me.

As I moved closer, I didn’t realize I had taken her hand in mine.

“I feel different whenever I’m near you. I feel... strange,” I whispered as her eyes fluttered open.

We locked eyes, sharing a moment I couldn’t quite explain.

I had never seen anyone like her before.

She was an Alpha, from some unknown kingdom.

“Why am I here? Where are my friends and family? Where are the animals?” she demanded fiercely, as though she had forgotten what happened.

“I don’t know. We found you in the jungle,” I replied.

She clutched her head, as if in pain.

“Oh, I remember now! You monster, you ordered your guards to shoot me and my family. You killed my best friend. I’ll never forgive you! Take me back to where I belong!” she cried, tears streaming down her face.

I didn’t know what she meant by her best friend being killed, but I remembered seeing her surrounded by animals, commanding them like a queen.

When our eyes met, she shifted into a magnificent Alpha wolf, which was why I ordered my guards to capture her.

I wanted to apologize, to explain I hadn’t meant to harm her, but I was speechless.

“Doctor! Please attend to her,” I called out, still feeling the weight of her sorrow.

Exhausted and hungry, I headed back to my packed house for something to eat.

The dining table was already set, and without bothering to shower, I sat down to eat.

Just then, my mother walked in.

“We heard you saved a girl. Who is she? Calia asked.

‘You seem to be very engrossed in this new girl. Be careful, Kelly.

Your wedding to Calia is only three months away, and I don’t want anything jeopardizing our family’s bond with the Moonlight Pack.

Calia is your Luna-to-be, and you must be cautious,’” my mother, Luna Vee, warned.

I was stunned.

I couldn’t believe Calia had told her such things after everything we’d been through.

I was angry, but I held it in.

“Mum, I saved a poor girl. I couldn’t just let her die in the jungle,” I explained, already feeling irritated.

“Well, I’m bringing her here tonight. I’ll take care of her until she’s healed, and then I’ll return her to the jungle where I found her,” I declared firmly, standing up from my seat.

I had lost my appetite.

Calia was seriously underestimating how much I loved her.

Valera’s POV I held the glass cup of juice perfectly in my hand. The cool glass clashed against my fingers as I lifted it to my lips. Celia’s eyes were firmly on me. She was watching too closely, smiling sweetly. But then I noticed her cat. Just for a moment. It wagged its tail in an odd way. It kept moving recklessly, whispering to itself. It didn’t know I could understand its language. A language only I could understand. “Don’t drink it. It’s harmful.” The cat’s warning was clear. It echoed in my ears like a bell. My heart raced. Fear rushed through my veins. I knew it. Celia’s sudden kindness was unreal. It was a trap. She hadn’t changed at all. She wanted my baby gone. I forced a smile. I acted like nothing was wrong. My hands shook slightly. I pretended to raise the cup again. But I needed to be smart. I needed to act fast. I placed my hand on my stomach. I pretended to feel sudden sickness. “I think… I think I’m going to throw up,” I said. I pushed t

For the position that came with being Luna. My eyes drifted to his beta, Jeton. He stood right beside Kelly. Our eyes met briefly. My heart skipped. Jeton was the one I truly loved. But no one knew. Once I gained control of the Sunlight Pack’s wealth, Jeton and I would be together. Kelly meant nothing to me. He was just a tool. A means to an end. The vows were exchanged quickly. • Valera's Payback   Day of decision of my stay in Sunlight Pack

Valera’s POV The day that would decide my future finally arrived. I stood weakly in the middle of the training ground. Two packs surrounded me ... the Sunlight Pack and the Silverclaw Pack. The air was tense. Everyone was watching. My heart pounded hard and would not stop. I could not believe Alpha Kelly suggested we fight. Why would he want that? He knew I was pregnant. He knew I was weak. He knew I was unsure of myself. I looked at the crowd. I looked at myself. This was going to be serious. But the fire I used to feel before a fight… it was gone. Something inside me had changed. The small weapon I was given felt heavy. My grip was weak. My fingers shook as I tried to balance myself. My eyes dropped to the ground. Celia's Point of View Alpha Kelly's face was filled with anger and panic as he stormed into the room. “Stop!” he shouted, his voice filling the large space. I froze instantly. Everyone froze. I had never seen my fiance with such an angry face before. Immediately, the doctor stepped back and lowered the syringe as Kelly approached him. I was annoyed. I wanted to move closer to Kelly, to touch him, to find out how he knew about us. How did he know what we were about to do to this miserable jungle girl? But I was stunned. I could only watch him let out his fury. “What the hell is going on here?” he growled, his eyes moving between the doctor, the nurses, Luna Catherine, and me. “Kelly, you need to calm down… we were just...” Before Luna Catherine could finish, Kelly cut her off. “You were about to kill my child?” he snapped, his voice thick with anger and shock. • Valera's Payback   Are You Pregnant?

Valera’s Point of View It’s been days now. I started feeling strange in my body. It was first unprecedented dizziness, accompanied by a constant need to lie down. Now, it’s an unbearable morning nausea that won’t stop. I battled with my tummy every morning as if it were trying to change its position in my body. I began having this unbearable headache. My head pounded heavily. It was the same today. I began to feel this unending, unprecedented phenomenon again. I immediately hurried to the bathroom, holding firmly to the sink for support as I vomited again. It had a very bitter taste. My body trembled afterwards. I washed my face with the water gushing out of the sink tap. Then I wiped my mouth with the towel hung on the door. I leaned against the wall. The room started spinning in my eyes. I closed my eyes instantly to stop watching it spin. My whole body began to feel different—heavier, slower. I didn’t understand what it was until now. I thought it was just a chan

  • Valera's Payback   I Am Packless

Valera's Point of View I couldn't believe where I was. I have never been to such a place before. I woke up feeling quite healthy now, but my arms hurt greatly. I lifted my hands and felt some kind of sharp pain there. Now that I remembered all that happened vividly, everything became more glaring to me. I cried silently because I could feel a change in my body; a whole lot had changed. Before now, I didn't feel pain. I have never felt pain before now; I got healed of any wound before a minute of having the wound. Tears filled my eyes and walked down my cheeks as I blinked my eyes. Just then, he walked in, the most handsome human I have seen, the one who held my hands minutes ago, asking if I was okay, the one I shouted and cursed, demanding why he ordered his guards to kill my best friend. I had some strange feelings in my body, like one that my body was connected to. Soon he moved closer, held my hands, and stared deeply into my eyes. "I am glad you are better now! I will
