LOGINValera’s Point of View
It’s been days now. I started feeling strange in my body. It was first unprecedented dizziness, accompanied by a constant need to lie down. Now, it’s an unbearable morning nausea that won’t stop. I battled with my tummy every morning as if it were trying to change its position in my body. I began having this unbearable headache. My head pounded heavily. It was the same today. I began to feel this unending, unprecedented phenomenon again. I immediately hurried to the bathroom, holding firmly to the sink for support as I vomited again. It had a very bitter taste. My body trembled afterwards. I washed my face with the water gushing out of the sink tap. Then I wiped my mouth with the towel hung on the door. I leaned against the wall. The room started spinning in my eyes. I closed my eyes instantly to stop watching it spin. My whole body began to feel different—heavier, slower. I didn’t understand what it was until now. I thought it was just a change in the environment. I had lived in the jungle all my life. Maybe I was just reacting to the change. As I tried to steady myself, I heard footsteps behind me. A sharp, familiar voice followed. “Valera?” Celia’s voice was sharp and cold. I turned to face her. The look on her face wasn’t a casual one. It was a despicable look. She folded her arms. Her eyes scanned my body from head to toe. She looked at me like I was dirt under her shoes. “You are pregnant, right?” she asked furiously. Her words were filled with hatred. “Pregnant?” My heart pounded hard in my chest. “Of course not! That can’t happen. I mean, I can’t be… maybe I am just reacting to some change in the environment and—” Before I could finish, Celia walked out angrily. I heard her mumble something in a low voice to Luna Catherine, Alpha Kelly’s mother. My tummy twisted. It wasn’t nausea this time. It was fear. “This couldn’t be happening,” I mumbled softly. Some minutes later, Luna Catherine walked in with Celia right behind her. I was still standing in the same spot, trying to understand what was happening. She looked me up and down with disgust. I could feel the judgment in the air. “Could this be true? You really want to trap my son with your miserable self,” Luna Catherine said coldly. Her eyes burned with anger. I shook my head and tried to explain. But words wouldn’t come out. “You little tramp!” Celia’s voice rose in rage as she moved closer. “You planned this, right? You seduced Alpha Kelly just to hold him down with that thing in your tummy!” My eyes filled with tears. I stared at the marble floor. I couldn’t understand how this had happened. I wasn’t even aware. Everything from that night with him was a blur. I wished he had returned me to the jungle. “You are such a disgrace,” Luna Catherine hissed. Her voice was low but furious. “Do you think a common jungle girl like you can trap my son with such a bastard in your tummy?” My knees gave way. Their words felt like daggers tearing into my heart. Celia paced up and down, hands on her hips. “You really think you are smart, huh? You think carrying my fiancé’s child will change anything? You are nothing! Less than nothing!” The pain in my chest grew heavier. Tears streamed down my cheeks. I couldn’t speak. Luna Catherine’s voice broke the air. “We are ending this right away!” She called for a maid to bring her phone. Minutes later, it was in her hand. “Doctor Mendez, I need you to come right away to Sunlight Pack,” she ordered. Within minutes, a man in a white coat entered. It was one of the doctors who treated me before. “Carry out a test on her and confirm if she is pregnant. If she is, get rid of the mistake immediately,” Luna Catherine commanded. The doctor glanced at me with pity. “I understand,” he said quietly. “No! Doctor, please don’t.” My voice was weak and shaky. “This isn’t your business. You have no say in this!” Luna Catherine snapped. Two nurses entered and grabbed my arms. They dragged me down the hall. My head ached. The room they pulled me into was cold and sterile. I tried to fight back. I tried to shift into my wolf form. But it was gone. The black pool had destroyed me. A syringe was pushed into my arm. They took my blood. Minutes later, the result confirmed it. I was pregnant. “Get rid of that thing immediately!” Luna Catherine barked. My heart ached. I couldn’t believe I was about to lose my unborn child. They laid me on the operating table. The bright light above me hurt my eyes. Tears streamed down my face. “Please, doctor… don’t…” I whispered. The doctor bent over me with a syringe. “This will make you relax,” he said, hesitating. Before he could inject me, the door swung open with a loud bang. My heart leapt. It was Alpha Kelly.Valera’s POV I held the glass cup of juice perfectly in my hand. The cool glass clashed against my fingers as I lifted it to my lips. Celia’s eyes were firmly on me. She was watching too closely, smiling sweetly. But then I noticed her cat. Just for a moment. It wagged its tail in an odd way. It kept moving recklessly, whispering to itself. It didn’t know I could understand its language. A language only I could understand. “Don’t drink it. It’s harmful.” The cat’s warning was clear. It echoed in my ears like a bell. My heart raced. Fear rushed through my veins. I knew it. Celia’s sudden kindness was unreal. It was a trap. She hadn’t changed at all. She wanted my baby gone. I forced a smile. I acted like nothing was wrong. My hands shook slightly. I pretended to raise the cup again. But I needed to be smart. I needed to act fast. I placed my hand on my stomach. I pretended to feel sudden sickness. “I think… I think I’m going to throw up,” I said. I pushed t
Celia’s POV Just as I had imagined. Just as I had planned. The wedding plans went smoothly. I wore the most beautiful dress in the Sunlight Pack. It was shimmering silver. A long veil flowed behind me as I walked down the aisle. All eyes were on me. It was my day. My moment. The day I would finally become the Luna of the Sunlight Pack. Kelly was there on the altar. Waiting for me. He looked as handsome as always. A black suit. Captivating eyes. But I wasn’t marrying him for love. Never. My heart never once beat for him. I was marrying him for power. For the position that came with being Luna. My eyes drifted to his beta, Jeton. He stood right beside Kelly. Our eyes met briefly. My heart skipped. Jeton was the one I truly loved. But no one knew. Once I gained control of the Sunlight Pack’s wealth, Jeton and I would be together. Kelly meant nothing to me. He was just a tool. A means to an end. The vows were exchanged quickly. Kelly kissed me in front of th
Valera’s POV The day that would decide my future finally arrived. I stood weakly in the middle of the training ground. Two packs surrounded me ... the Sunlight Pack and the Silverclaw Pack. The air was tense. Everyone was watching. My heart pounded hard and would not stop. I could not believe Alpha Kelly suggested we fight. Why would he want that? He knew I was pregnant. He knew I was weak. He knew I was unsure of myself. I looked at the crowd. I looked at myself. This was going to be serious. But the fire I used to feel before a fight… it was gone. Something inside me had changed. The small weapon I was given felt heavy. My grip was weak. My fingers shook as I tried to balance myself. My eyes dropped to the ground. My mind drifted back to the jungle ... where life was simpler. The animals. The trees. The freedom. I wished I could go back there. I missed the jungle. I was the boss there. But now… it was impossible. Not with a child growing inside me. I pla
Celia's Point of View Alpha Kelly's face was filled with anger and panic as he stormed into the room. “Stop!” he shouted, his voice filling the large space. I froze instantly. Everyone froze. I had never seen my fiance with such an angry face before. Immediately, the doctor stepped back and lowered the syringe as Kelly approached him. I was annoyed. I wanted to move closer to Kelly, to touch him, to find out how he knew about us. How did he know what we were about to do to this miserable jungle girl? But I was stunned. I could only watch him let out his fury. “What the hell is going on here?” he growled, his eyes moving between the doctor, the nurses, Luna Catherine, and me. “Kelly, you need to calm down… we were just...” Before Luna Catherine could finish, Kelly cut her off. “You were about to kill my child?” he snapped, his voice thick with anger and shock. Luna Catherine gasped like a fish battling for air. “But… Kelly… she is nothing!” she stammered. “She’s just a...

Valera's Point of View I couldn't believe where I was. I have never been to such a place before. I woke up feeling quite healthy now, but my arms hurt greatly. I lifted my hands and felt some kind of sharp pain there. Now that I remembered all that happened vividly, everything became more glaring to me. I cried silently because I could feel a change in my body; a whole lot had changed. Before now, I didn't feel pain. I have never felt pain before now; I got healed of any wound before a minute of having the wound. Tears filled my eyes and walked down my cheeks as I blinked my eyes. Just then, he walked in, the most handsome human I have seen, the one who held my hands minutes ago, asking if I was okay, the one I shouted and cursed, demanding why he ordered his guards to kill my best friend. I had some strange feelings in my body, like one that my body was connected to. Soon he moved closer, held my hands, and stared deeply into my eyes. "I am glad you are better now! I will
