Valera’s Point of View

It's been days now. I started feeling strange in my body; it was first unprecedented dizziness, accompanied by a consistent need to lie down, and now it's an unbearable constant morning nausea that wouldn't stop. I battled with my tummy every morning as if it were trying to change its position in my body. I began having this unbearable headache as my head pounded heavily.

It was the same today. I began to feel this unending, unprecedented phenomenon again. I immediately hurried to the bathroom, holding firmly to the sink for support as I vomited again. It was a very bitter taste, and my body trembled afterwards.

I wash my face with the water gushing out of the sink tap and then wipe my mouth with the towel hung on the door and lean against the wall, and then the room started spinning in my eyes. I closed my eyes instantly to stop watching the room spinning. My whole body began to feel different—heavier, slower; however, I didn't understand what it was until now. I initially thought it was caused by a change in the environment. I had lived in the jungle all my life, maybe I was just reacting to change or environment.

As I tried to gain some balance to steady myself, I heard some footsteps behind me, and a sharp, familiar voice followed it.

“Valera?” Celia’s voice was sharp and cold, cutting slightly through the peaceful air. I instantly turned to face her; however, the look on her face wasn't a challant one. It was a despicable look. She folded her arms and crossed them across her chest; her eyes hovered around my body; they rotated from my head to my toes disdainfully like I was some dirt right under her shoes.

“You are pregnant, right?” She asked furiously, her words filled with hatred.

“Pregnant? My heart pounded hard in my chest. “Of course not! That can't happen; I mean, I can't be…maybe I am just reacting to some change in the environment and…” before I finished my words, Celia walked out angrily at me. And I heard her mumble something in a low voice to Luna Catherine, Alpha Kelly's mother. My tummy instantly rotated, however, it wasn't nauseating this time around, it was fear. I was caged with fears. “This couldn't be happening,” I mumbled softly to myself.

Some minutes after Luna Catherine walked in with Celia walking right behind her. I was still stuck at the position she left me, trying to comprehend what was actually happening to me. She gawked at me from head to toe disdainfully, her expression filled with disgust. I could feel the judgment hanging up in the air between us.

“Could this be true? You really want to trap my son with your miserable self,” Luna Catherine said coldly; her eyes were exuding fire. I shook my head and tried to explain that I didn't understand what was happening as well; however, I was at a loss for words; words weren't coming out, and everything was happening too fast.

“You little tramp!” Celia's voice rose in rage as she moved close to me. “You have this planned already, right? You seduced Alpha Kelly, just to hold him down with that thing in your tummy, right?”

My eyes were already filled with salty water as I stared deeply at the marble floor. I couldn't fathom how this had happened; I wasn't even aware. Everything was a blur from the night I shared with him; I never planned for this, nor do I think I would be in such a messy situation. I wished he had returned me to the jungle he picked me from.

“You are such a disgrace,” Luna Catherine hissed, with a very low, furious voice.

“Do you think a common jungle girl like you can trap my son down with such a bastard in your tummy?” I immediately felt my knees echo to the floor; the words they threw at me felt like a dagger tearing my heart to pieces. I was speechless; I couldn't utter a word. I was happy in the jungle; this was beginning to feel like hell Lana spoke about.

Celia was pacing up and down, her hands fully on her hips, shaking her head rigorously. “You really think you are smart, hun! You think carrying my fiancé's child will change anything? You are absolutely nothing! Less than nothing!”  The pains in my chest grew taller as their words washed over me, like a nail, nailing me to the cross; tears walked down my cheeks, and I couldn't find the strength to speak. I wouldn't even be allowed; what would I say? I was totally overwhelmed.

“We are ending this right away!” Luna Catherine said as she called on one of the maids to bring her phone. In minutes, her phone was right in her hands as she scrolled through her phone's screen; the sound of the phone echoed through my ears.

“Doctor, Mendez, I need you to come right away to Sunlight Pack,” she ordered and dropped the call, even before she could get a response.

Within minutes, a man in a white coat entered the room. It was a known doctor; he was one of those who took care of me in the pack hospital Alpha Kelly took me to.

“Please carry out a test on her and confirm if she is pregnant! If she is, take care and get rid of the mistake immediately,” Luna Catherine ordered, her voice sharp and commanding.

The doctor took a glance at me with pity and then nodded. "Well, understand, I will prepare the procedure immediately.”

“No! Doctor, please don't.” My voice finally picked up; however, it was weak and shaky.

Luna Catherine immediately waved her hands dismissively. “This isn't your business; you have no say in this!”

I tried to back off; however, the room felt small, and there was absolutely nowhere to go. Before I could open my eyes and close them, I saw two nurses walk in from nowhere, grabbing me by the arms as they walked me down to the hall. My head ached as they dragged me into a cold, sterile room. I tried using my last strength to pull away; however, they were all gone. I tried turning to my wolf form to fight them all and to break myself off from the shackle; however, I realized it was gone; I couldn't turn to my wolf form anymore. The black pool had really destroyed me.

Before I knew it, a syringe was pulled into my body, and they took some of my blood; in minutes, the test confirmed I was truly pregnant!

“Get rid of that thing immediately!” Luna Catherine's voice cut sharp. My heart aches as I couldn't believe I would watch them take off my unborn child without doing anything.

Before I knew it, I was already laid down on the operating table. The bright light hung above the ceiling penetrated through my eyes, almost blinding me as I felt tears steaming down my face. The reality of what would take place hit me hard like tons of bricks. They were going to take my unborn baby away.

“Please, doctor..don't…” I said, my voice barely audible.

The doctor was over me, standing right beside my bed, bending over me with a syringe in his hand.

“This will make you relax,” he said calmly. I could hear the hesitation in his voice. He knew for sure it wasn't right.

Just as he was about to penetrate the syringe in my vein, the door swung open with a loud bang. My heart leapt as I turned to see who had come in. It was Alpha Kelly.

Valera’s POVI held the glass cup of juice perfectly in my hand; the cool glass clashed against my fingers as I lifted it up to my lips, and Celia's eyes were firmly on me, watching me so tight, radiating a sweet smile. However, I noticed her cat; just for a moment, it was wagging its tail in an odd way; it kept moving recklessly, whispering to itself, oblivious that I understood its language. A language only I could understand. “Don’t drink it. It’s harmful.”The cat’s words were clear, echoing through my ears like a warning bell. My heart raced heavily; fear washed my veins. I understood clearly; I knew it. Celia's sudden kindness was unreal; it was a trap. She didn't change a bit! There was no way she could. Valera's POVThe day that will determine my future in the world finally arrived. I stood weakly in the middle of the training ground, surrounded by the two pack members, the Sunlight and the Silverclaw packs. There was tension in the air, and with unprecedented anticipation from everyone, my heart pounded non-stop. I couldn't believe that Alpha Kelly could suggest to them that we should fight! I mean. Why exactly will he want that? He knew I was pregnant, I was weak, and I was unsure of myself. I stared at the crowd and looked at myself; it was going to be a serious fight; however, I didn't feel the fire that usually burns inside of Mr. before a fight anymore. However, I was stunned and watched him as he let out his fury. “What the hell is going on here?” He growled, his eyes moving between the doctor, the nurses, Luna Catherine, and myself.“Kelly, you need to calm down…we were just…” before Luna Catherine could finish her words, Kelly cut her shut. “You were about to kill my child?” He snapped, his voice filled with anger and shock.Luna Catherine's mouth opened and closed as she gasped like a fish battling for air

Valera's Point of ViewI couldn't believe where I was. I have never been in such a place before. I woke up feeling quite healthy now, but my arms hurt greatly. I lifted my hands and felt some kind of sharp pain there. Now that I remembered all that happened vividly, everything became more glaring to me. I cried silently because I could feel a change in my body; a whole lot had changed. Before now, I didn't feel pain. I have never felt pain before now; I got healed of any wound before a minute of having the wound. Tears filled my eyes and walked down my cheeks as I blinked my eyes. Just then, he walked in, the most handsome human I have seen, the one who held my hands minutes ago, asking if I was okay, the one I shouted and cursed, demanding why he ordered his guards to kill my best friend. I had some strange feelings in my body, like one that my body was connected to. Soon he moved closer, held my hands, and stared deeply into my eyes. "I am glad you are better now! I will take you
