He slowly opened his eyes and saw himself, safe.

"What is your name?" Adrik enquired.

"Darwin Atkinson, I am a scientist. My father used to work here, but he was killed in an accident while conducting a chemical experiment. He has not completed his contracted years of service, so these people dragged me here to finish my father's service." Darwin expressed his sadness.

Adrik felt sorry for him because he was in the same condition as he was.

"I missed my father; he used to tell me that I should never work where he does because it's an illegal Mafia organisation. I didn't believe him at first, but now I know it's a large tycoon corporation. But I don't want to work here; they've imprisoned me here to die because of my uncooperative behaviour." said Darwin

Adrik said, "Let's get out of here."

"Darwin did say he was getting up, but he fell down again because his knees were injured.

"What's wrong? What's the point of your sitting? Adrik inquired as he sat there.

"I'm unable to move. My knees, hurts he said crawling.

Adrik rolls his eyes and walks towards him.

Picks him up in his arms and walks out of the room.

Darwin's body has turned cold. One male was carrying another male. It was a very awkward situation for him.

In addition, he was wrapping his arms around Adrik's shoulders.

"Are you staring at me because I'm too handsome?" Adrik inquired, a smirk on his face.

"What's wrong with his veins?" He reflected.

He dashed towards the elevator and stepped down with Darwin in his arms.

""Boss, are you all right?" Lucas dashed inside.

"Lucas!! Adrik was astounded.

" What exactly are you doing here? "I know you're supposed to be with your girlfriend at this time, so why are you here?" Adrik inquired.

"Boss, I'll explain everything, but first let's get out of..." Lucas came to a halt in the middle of his sentence, his gaze fixed on Darwin, whom his boss was carrying in his arms. He cast a quick glance at his Boss, then at Darwin, who was perplexed.

'What happened, haven't you ever seen a man carrying a man?"

Darwin was irritated because Lucas was giving him a strange look as if he were a criminal.

Adrik rolled his eyes in frustration and began hurriedly walking in the direction of the exit, still carrying Darwin in his arms. He doesn't want to become entangled between them, nor does he want to waste his time there.

"I can walk," Darwin said angrily, smirking.

Adrik pretended to be deafeningly as if hadn't heard Darwin's voice.

Lucas followed his boss, who was having strange thoughts about the situation. Is it true that his boss came here to save his boyfriend? That's why he jeopardised his life!! "No, no, what am I thinking?" Lucas exclaimed, clearing his mind's noisence thoughts.

Soon after Adrik reached for his car, Lucas appeared in front of him and opened the door.

Adrik places Darwin on the back seat next to his seat, then gets in and closes the car door.

Lucas drove us to my mansion, where I wanted to rest.

"Yes, boss ,"Lucas said as he sat in the driver's seat and started the engine.

" Where you're taking me?" Darwin asked in a panicked tone.

"This is so annoying," Adrik sighed resting his head on his seat.

"Do you think you'll be alive if I let you go? Do you know anything about Novikov Consigliers? They can be very trustworthy business tycoons, but they can also be brutal killers for those who betray them in any way." Adrik said in hushed tones, but it has explaining power.

"So, for the time being, I'm going to give you shelter in my Mansion where no one can harm you," he said in a deep but comforting tone.

"Can you guarantee my safety?" Darwin asked in anixousity

When Darwin asked Adrik if he could guarantee his safety, Lucas chuckled.

"Did you know you are sitting next to the most dangerous member of our Mafia organisation?" Lucas stated.

"What?" Darwin's eyes widened in surprise.

"So, keep your goddamn mouth shut and let me rest, I'm quite tired from the fight," Adrik said, folding his arms and resting his head on the seat.

Lucas concentrated on his driving, Darwin got chills in his body from fear, and he decided not to make any more fuss.

"Ouch!!" My knees, why can't you drive ? Because of your fast driving, my knees got brushed by the back of your seat "Darwin said this while blowing air from his mouth into his wound.

Adrik took a side glance at his wound and saw blood.

His inner beast began to awaken.

"No, not now, he said as he stared at Darwin's wound, his red blood.

"Turn your head the other way, Adrik, don't look," he murmured to himself, his teeth clenched.

Darwin noticed Adrik, who appeared unconcerned, his hands closed in fists, teeth clenched, as if he was struggling with something.

"Cover your wound?"

Adrik said as he continued to stare at his bloodied knees.

His eyes were changing colours, purplish-red veins were visible, his skin had turned pale, and he was clenching his teeth, trying desperately to keep himself under control.

"I said cover it," he hastily removed his coat and threw it over Darwin's wound.

"Ah!!"

Darwin was scared and confused by Adrik's angry voice and sudden change in his body.

Adrik ordered Lucas to drive fast in order to keep himself from transforming into a strange animal.

Here, Maria informed Olivia that Adrik was in danger, which is why Lucas went to save him.

"What exactly are you saying? Is he all right? Oh no, I have to go see him. Olivia hung up the phone and drove away, her gaze darting outside.

"I know this has to be Alec's plan; if Adrik has even a minor scratch on his body, I'm going to kill Alec," Olivia murmured as she accelerated towards Adrik's Mansion.

Olivia's informant was Maria.

Olivia arrived at his Mansion and saw Adrik's car, so she dashed inside. Her body shivered in fear, wondering if Adrik was okay.

Hearing the sound of heels tapping, three men sitting in the hall turned their gaze to the young sexy lady walking like a model.

She was dressed so casually that it appeared she was wearing nothing.
