Chapter XIX

The full moon gave a mesmerizing blue glow that night, lighting up the whole kingdom from where she was. It was as if everything was like before if only there wasn’t so much misery and suffering that could be seen right now.

From where she was the princess could see a lot of houses still left abandoned, broken, and burnt, people could be seen wandering around several parts of the town, scavenging for whatever food they could find, all the while trying to fend for themselves as some parts of the walls were broken down and the magical barrier was no longer there, allowing some of the beast to enter the town.
