Jordyn woke up, almost blinded by the halogenic lights they use in the hospital. Machines were beeping close by her, which just confirmed where she was. Jayce’s hand covered hers. “What happened?” Her voice was weak and barely sounded like her.

“I think we met Vivian.” Jillian answered as she walked into view.

“What?” She questioned, glancing between Jayce and Jillian. Jayce nodded his answer. “Where’s Myra? I don’t have time to be stuck here.”
