Chapter 19 SMELLS JEALOUSY

[ANIKA HODGENS POV]

I was annoyed with Jaz's sudden change of mind. I thought we could talk and start all over again.

So stupid, I was going to chase and go with her, but then I saw her with someone else. I waited for that guy to leave, but they walked together. She should have just told me she would be having lunch with her boyfriend instead of making up lies.

Meeting, ah!

"Come on! Is their food delicious here?" It was Gwen. She still hasn't left, even making her feel I'm not interested in going with her.

Right now, I want to smoke. Why does Jaz have to lie to me? That was the most I hated, liars like my parents for not telling me the truth about their separation and having a new family.

Even Gwen got a nonstop mouth. I got no choice but to accompany her. She is very talkative and never runs out of stories. I just nodded even though I didn't understand what she was saying.

I'm still preoccupied with Jaz lying earlier.
