11. Demenicus Ruins The Meeting
Kate was ready to make a move. She slowly and quietly stretched to reach the sharp pocket knife. As she was about to get grip on the knife, a strong leg kicked her finger and the knife away. She screamed in pain as she was certain that at least two of her fingers were broken.
As she looked up in agony to see the person who inflicted her with such pain, she was somewhat disappointed. It was Reven Darke, bastard son to Demenicus Darke. She was shaking the cell gates furiously, screaming and crying at the same time. Her face was red and puffy and her lips were stained with blood. She kept on screaming the words, 'No! It was a beautiful scene indeed. The happy dancers shaking and moving in accordance with feathered and rainbow coloured costumes, shrieking in excitement. Reven felt highly entertained by the Singers and Dancers who made the burial look like a harmonious ceremony. He laughed occasionally at the dancers weird moves and at the singers flat lines, completely unaware of the turning heads and murmurs people made towards him.
