All eyes were on Heathrow. Everyone apart from Reven was curious to hear the suspect.
Heathrow cleared his throat and said in a thick, clear, and firm voice. "To be sincere, I know who the killer is. I was a witness to the murder." Handogan who was now growing impatient, asked,"And who is it?" Delia in confusion, whispered to Heathrow; "what are you doing? Do you want to set someone else up? Answer me." Heathrow acted deaf and didn't respond to Delia. Handogan asked again, "We are not going to spend the whole day here, so if you truly know who it is, it's best for you to speak." "Who is it, Lad?" Reno asked growing impatient. "It is no one else but…DELIA NEY." Delia, shocked to the bones, stoKate was ready to make a move. She slowly and quietly stretched to reach the sharp pocket knife. As she was about to get grip on the knife, a strong leg kicked her finger and the knife away. She screamed in pain as she was certain that at least two of her fingers were broken. As she looked up in agony to see the person who inflicted her with such pain, she was somewhat disappointed. It was Reven Darke, bastard son to Demenicus Darke. Although she had known he was from the Skull pack and was even known as the most heartless, savage, and brutal Skull pack wolf, which got him the nameDeath Keeperby the rest of the packs, when she saw him earlier he didn't look like the monster or Ripper that people had called him, she saw him as a dashingly handsome guy with the best facial and body features she had ever seen, and in her mind, she had silently hoped that the rumours weren't true.
She was shaking the cell gates furiously, screaming and crying at the same time. Her face was red and puffy and her lips were stained with blood. She kept on screaming the words, 'No! Please stop!' until she lost her voice and surrendered to crying. She fell to the ground and shut her eyes, giving up on hitting the strong cell gates She could hear the vicious sounds of horror beyond the cage, cries of pain and terror rang continuously in her ears and she blamed herself for every single bit of it. The terrible cries of pain gradually transformed to screaming voices and finally to faces pointing accusing fingers at her, shouting in desperation. The voices became louder and louder and she just couldn't bear it anymore. She attempted shutting her eyes tighter but rather it only made the faces more vivid and the voices even louder. Her fear gradually turned to anger and then to fury. Her breathing became fast, her forehead folded and her mouth formed a stern frown. In a few seconds, she
The wind blew rustling leaves as Natalie Kane sat on the very peak of a hill, staring at the beautiful view. She loved coming to the hill because it reminded her of the beauty of nature and the essence of life. The hill was known as The Wall by the rest of the pack because it separated the Deadbolt pack from other packs, but she named the hill, Life because of the feeling it gave her. She always felt more alive whenever she was up there, all her nerves were more alert and she felt a supreme sense of comfort. As she sat at the peak of the hill, she sighted Arie, her best friend, running from afar and screaming her name. Natalie sighed in annoyance, she hated it when she was interrupted by someone whenever she was on Life(the hill). As Arie grew closer, Natalie began to notice the panic in Arie's voice. She stood up in alert, picked her arrow and ran down the hill. As she ran towards Arie, she wondered on what
Natalie couldn't seem to understand Life anymore, she looked around and watched how everyone was talking and panicking about the Skull pack as they rode in the night, they were all forgetting about the main person, Yvonne, who was about to be buried six feet under the ground. Her hatred for the Skull pack knew no bounds now more than ever as she saw them as wicked and heartless beings who wanted to ruin Yvonne's burial. She also despised the so-called new tradition which says that whenever an alpha dies, other alphas must be present especially during the Coronation of a new Alpha. Natalie didn't understand why the rest were scared of the Skull pack, probably because she had never met one.Handogan and Reno talked throughout the journey, trying to reason why the Skull pack were attending the burial, but they just got more and more confused. They finally reached the Furnace pack wall and were welcomed heartily by the guards.&nbs
He was being chased by something.Something very large, very fast and very strong. His legs were tired and were beginning to shake. The creature howled loudly and it was clear that it was very close to him, closer than he had thought. It howled again and for the first time he noticed that the sound came from him.As he ran shakily, he staggered and fell down on the wet muddy ground with his face looking at the ground. He stayed like that for a while and he didn't hear the creature anymore. He raised his head up and was as still as a rock as he found himself in a blood pool surrounded by hundreds of people.Carefully, and slowly he looked down at the blood pool and with a high cry, screamed as he saw himself as theBEAST.Reven woke up screaming and shaking with fright. His father was seated
It was a beautiful scene indeed. The happy dancers shaking and moving in accordance with feathered and rainbow coloured costumes, shrieking in excitement. Reven felt highly entertained by the Singers and Dancers who made the burial look like a harmonious ceremony. He laughed occasionally at the dancers weird moves and at the singers flat lines, completely unaware of the turning heads and murmurs people made towards him. It took him a while to notice that he was the only person laughing and he was the only person in blue tee-shirts and a white short instead of the regular all black attire. He was the only odd person in the gathering and he didn't seem to mind. Reven was still laughing when Natalie came in with her father, her brother and the rest of her pack. Demenicus patted Reven on his lap and whispered in his ears, "Remember what I told you."&n
Heathrow barged into Delia's room. His annoyance and disappointment were obvious. He didn't want Delia to ruin all they have planned, to him they had done way to much to spoil it all now. Heathrow was taken by surprise as he found Delia on her bed screaming and crying. Her black dress laid on the ground, totally ripped apart. She was seated on her bed wailing with only her underwear. Heathrow picked up a towel and covered her with it, and gently embraced her. He could feel the warm tears fall on his shirt and he felt compassionate. He murmured a few words of encouragement but Delia took none, she kept on wailing aloud and screaming in desperation. After a while, she stopped screaming and then began to accuse Heathrow for her sorrows. "YOU LIED TO ME. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU MORE THAN I HATE HER. YOU'RE SUCH A LIAR." "Delia, I've never lied to you and I'll neve
"Taz, what exactly did you see?" Niue Yoda, one of the twelve history keepers said. They were by the side of the great temple facing the Wolf blood river. The sounds of the clashing waves and the river birds creating a pleasant music. "What I saw wasn't really clear? But I am sure of what I heard." "And what did you hear?" "I heard Yvonne screaming, shouting in desperation. She was screaming and weeping in the most horrible way I've heard." "Did she say anything, Taz?" "Ummm…nothing much, she was just shouting the word,No,over and over again." Niue looked up and thought for several seconds. "I think it's because she was murdered. She must be seeking Justice."
