Chapter 10: The Kiss

I was out of breath after a long kiss with Rosh. I stare at Rosh to see his reaction after our long kiss.

"Why did you kiss me?" I asked him.

"I apologise. I was swayed by the ambience." Rosh apologised.

"Why are you apologising? Don't tell me you just kissed me to cover up the rumors around you?" I asked him.

"Yes." Rosh replied.

"So, you don't have feelings for me?" I asked him.

Rosh nodded. I felt betrayed. I was hoping he had feelings for me.

"A*shole." I whispered due to my suppressed anger.

"Did you call me a*shole?" Rosh asked.

"What do you think?" I replied and left him on the dance floor.

"Raia, wait." Rosh followed me but he was interrupted by his business investor.

I went to the nearest open balcony to cool off my anger. I was pissed off being used by Rosh. I was also mad at myself for having feelings for Rosh. From the start, there will never be us.

"Raia?! Is that you?" Someone called my name.

I turn around to look for who calls my name. There, I saw a handsome guy that
