Some relationships are far better than blood relation

Ella's POV

When Aviv said we were about to attend a funeral, I went numb and was not able to ask him anything. Numerous questions were crossing my mind, but I was not able to utter any of it.

I heartily wished if Aviv could hear those loud questions and provide me with the answers, which I was carving to know. But it never happened, he just stayed mute and dragged me inside towards the hall.

Hall was filled with the cacophony of loud music, people were enjoying, dancing, singing, talking and laughing. Gripping my wrist tight Aviv pulled me through the crowd.

Once again, I was driving back to our childhood memories, where he used to grip my wrist in a similar manner and guide me to walk.

He called Aster who was attending some of his guests. Just in one call, Aster asked for an excuse with his guests and followed us to the corner.

"We need to leave Aster," Aviv said in an upset accent.
