Chapter 21: Cats
I was whistling happily as I got out of the lift, my hands filled with two brown shopping bags. My talk with Cherry had succeeded in boosting my mood. Knowing we had next to nothing in the fridge, I decided to go grocery shopping on my way home. To appease Louise, I bought him chewy meat sticks, hoping he'll go nuts over it and forgive me for neglecting him. As I juggled the bags on my arm, my neighbor came out of her room carrying a white shopping bag filled with whatever it was filled with. I tried but failed not be amused by her outfit choice. She had on an army colored yoga tank top tucked into a white sweatpants leggings, her hair was held back with a huge red head band and she had a pair of blue shaded avaitor square sunglasses, her lips brightly colored red. She gave me a warm smile and I returned it naturally.
