LOGINChapter 58
Jace's POV
We were silent for a long time. Neither of us spoke. Suddenly Jenna lifted her face and eyes me innocently.
"What?" I chuckled.
She nodded in no, "You burned Liza alive."
My face stilled. I pulled her closer and joined our foreheads, "I had to. She was the bane of our family."
I kissed her.
"Also," I added. "She made me doubt my wife's intentions. I had to punish her."
At that, she hugged me tighter and rested her face on my shoulder. She was sitting straddling my waist while I held her like my toddler baby.
My back had healed. Hence, I was able to sit this way.
The doctors had been worried because the wound wasn't healing in my state of unconsciousness. That's the reason why they refused to give any answer. But the second I woke up, the wound healed, and all the residue of wolfsbane and silver was eliminated by my immune system.
"What happened to Chris and that lady?" I suddenly asked as I remembered those two.
"Both dead. And that lady was Doctor Henry's daughter."
I pulled Jenna away and stared at her face, "Ohh… I remember. You did it?"
Her lips pushed out in a cute pout, "I was very mad when the doctors refused to say anything. In my rage, I burnt them alive on a pyre like you did to Liza, so everyone would see what happens when they try to hurt my husband."
I stared in stunned silence. Then the next moment I burst out laughing. I pulled her back to my chest and kissed her forehead.
"That was a bold move, huh. Burning your Ex alive. How did it feel?"
"Very good." That made me laugh again. I thought she'll say she cried because he was her ex. "I felt like I was free from captivity."
Silence fell over us again. During this time, I began to think about the mistakes I made. On that day Jenna left, my wolf said many wrong things, which he confessed he didn't mean. Jenna deserves an apology for that.
Taking a breath, I held her shoulders. I pulled her away from me as I said, "I'm sorry."
We both said it together actually.
Erupting into laughter, we both cupped each other's faces and apologized. Jenna shared her feelings from that day. So did I.
"I promise it'll not happen again. Denis and I will never repeat it, Love." I kissed her.
"Me too. I will always trust you and never take anyone else's anger out on you. And I will never leave our son no matter what. I forgot it's him that connects us together. I'll always love you both, Jace." She kissed me too.
"Me too."
We were savoring the moment. Just as our hearts beat in sync. We were loving this until we heard an euphoric cry.
"Mamma, Dadda!" We both turned to see mom carrying Jared inside.
"My little devil, how are you? Now you're not crying, ha! When your mom was gone for just a few hours, you made the whole castle shake with your cries. Did you cry for me too?" I took him in my arms as Jenna jumped back on her feet.
Jared played with my face. He touched my lips and cheeks before he threw his little arms around my neck.
"Dadda! Dadda!"
Warmth filled my chest. I hugged him tightly and let his scent flare in my nostrils.
This feeling is so blissful.
Moon Goddess, thank you for giving me another chance with my family.

Jenna's POV
A month later,
"Jared, don't go there." I yelled as our son was crawl-chasing behind a frog towards a pond.
We had come for a picnic to the royal park on account of our son's ninth month anniversary. Jace, me, our son, and mom and dad.
We were sitting on a mat with lots of snacks and food around us.
"Jace, no! Come back, you brat!" Mom and dad chuckled as Jared looked back to laugh and resumed crawl-chasing after the frog that seemed to want to get away from him.
"Jared!" I began to get up.
"I'll bring him." Jace patted my knee before he shot out like a bullet.
He picked our son by the waist and swayed him around. Jace stopped and raised Jared to kiss his forehead.
"Don't bother your Mamma so much, pup. Otherwise, she'll start spanking you. Isn't it too soon to get it at such a young age? Even I won't be able to help because she's the Queeeeeen!" He talked to him.
Jared understood nothing, but he laughed before getting onto a new adventure— crawling up his father's shoulder to catch a butterfly that was fluttering above his head.
Jace didn't stop him. He let Jared get onto his left shoulder. He held our son there as he cast a helpless look in my direction.
"I'm sorry I gave you such a mischievous son."
"I love him." I chortled.
"Dadda!" All of us shot our eyes to Jared. He was whining because the butterfly flew away.
"Dadda, ja! Ja!" He pointed at the butterfly and kicked his legs.
"You want me to help you chase after that colorful creature? Okay. Let's go." Jace made our son sit on his shoulders, Jared's legs on either side of his neck.
Then he set off in a run as our son's laughter echoed in the air.
Mom and dad side-hugged each other as they admired their son playing with his son. I sat beside them admiring them before my eyes drifted off to catch sight of my husband and his mini version.
Eight months ago when my ex-husband's betrayal came to my attention, I thought my life was ruined. I thought losing him, my marriage with him, and everything I'd once believed in as a blessing in my life was the cruelest thing fate could have done to me.
Now looking at the life I had built, I finally understood one thing— He didn't ruin my life. He actually made room for it by cheating on me. He did a favour on me.
If he hadn't betrayed me, I would never have walked away. If he hadn't attempted to punish me by making sure I would carry what he believed was a weak Omega's child, I would never have met Jace, the man who taught me what it truly meant to be loved.
I would never have become the Luna Queen I was today. I would never have held my beautiful son in my arms. I would never have been able to call the strongest wolf my husband. I would never have met Jace's parents, who loved me like their own daughter. I would never have got the blessing to call someone mom and dad.
So, yes… I'm glad he broke my heart.
Because after he broke it, fate gave me a love that was worth every broken piece.
Fate gave me Jace and Jared. The two handsome men of my life.
Fate gave me Mom and dad. My parents.
Fate gave me Them. My family!
So, thank you, Moon Goddess. Thanks for letting my Ex break my heart.

Chapter 57Jenna's POV 'Thanks, bro. Head towards the Rogues' territory with your team. I'll meet you there.''Roger that!''Okay.'We broke the link. I sucked a sharp breath as I focused on the road ahead. If I drive at high speed, I'll get there in twenty minutes.Jenna, hold on for a while, love. Your husband is coming to get you.(Twenty minutes later)"Jace, finally you're here." Oakley came running towards my car as I applied brakes."Did you find her location?" I was not even fully out of the car."Yes, and already stationed our soldiers around the area." Oakley said, sending a wave of relief through me."Thank, goddess.""Don't worry, Jace. The situation is already in our control." Oakley flashed a shark grin and my eyebrows cocked in confusion. "Chris's soldiers look novice. They are not attentive at all, let alone alert.""I think he brought untrained wolves here. And I must add that his Beta and Gamma are not here either."I acknowledged with a nod, "He's probably doing it
Chapter 56Jenna's POV Jace has never touched her before. He hadn't done it this time either. It's that bìtch who always found ways to go near him.'There's no point in giving yourself false hope, Jenna. Jace isn't the man we thought he was. Accept it.' Gianna said.A feeling of disappointment rose over me. No! My wolf is not right here. She's hurt from Jace's wolf's words, and rest is the impact of wolfsbane.Jace loves us.'You really think that? Then tell me, why didn't he come after us when we left?'he He might have a reason.'No,' Gianna grunted weakly. 'It's because he was bewitched by his mistress's beauty and he chose her instead.'That's not true. I was breathless in anger. Gianna's words struck a chord that it shouldn't have.'I'll prove it to you that Jace still only loves us.'Having that said, I lowered my guard. I had blocked out everyone and their feelings to avoid getting caught. However, as I lowered my guard, I could feel my family's emotions— Jace's first. He was
Chapter 55Jenna's POVI regained my senses at the feeling of stabbing spasms stretching throughout my body. My eyelids were heavy and so I couldn't drag them open. But my other senses were working well.I could hear and smell and feel my surroundings. The air was crackling with the chirping of thousands of crickets, meaning that I was most likely in a forest area; or where there were a lot of trees.I dragged in a deep breath to catch scents, and realized that wood was burning somewhere. Then I heard the noise of fire crackling. A bonfire. I subtly rubbed my hand on the ground and sensed the coarse texture. Soil. All the elements directed to one point, I was in a forest. My eyes felt better now. I was about to open them when, "Hadn't she woken up yet?" A familiar voice asked."No, Alpha Chris. After she turned into her human form while fainting, she's been just like that." Someone said,It wasn't Cleo's voice. Hmm. Perhaps Chris flew all the way to Silent Hills city with a small team
Chapter 54Jace's POV "Let this be a lesson to all those who think they can fool the Alpha King just because I trust them." I announced as I paced around with a flaming torch in my hand. Behind me a pyre was built in the middle of the city for people to watch. On it Liza was tied to a pole. She was drenched with petrol and shaking. Her eyes were red. She begged me to let her go, that she was honestly apologetic. That she acknowledged her blunder and would go away. "My trust has never been a weakness. My willingness to believe in those who stand beside me does not make me blind, nor does my kindness make me a fool. I give people my trust because I choose to see the good in them. Because I consider them my previous ones. But the moment that trust is betrayed, do not mistake my silence for ignorance. And don't ever think that you can outsmart me."I came to a halt. The flames were crackling beside my face. It was night now, the sky was dark with no stars. There were light poles around
