2Jenna's POV"My baby!!" I woke up screaming."Jenna, careful!" Two warm hands pressed down on my shoulders to keep me lying on the bed.I flickered my eyes to the person and my nostrils flared. It was Chris, and he looked worried."Jenna, baby, you okay?" He put some strands behind my ear as he leaned over me. "Henry found you passed out in the elevator, and before that you had pain from contractions. Are you okay? How are you feeling?"He hovered over me as his fingers cupped my cheeks, "Wait, I'll call Henry."He straightened and hurried out of the room. I looked around before trying to sit up. Since my belly was huge, I was unable to twist let alone get up. Hence, I stilled there, my gaze fixated on the white ceiling as Chris and Doctor Henry's conversation spilled into my mind.Sasha... She was back. She came back three months ago when I started my third trimester. No wonder I've been feeling unimaginable pain. It's because Chris, my mate, has been sleeping with her. And because

4Jenna's POV"Where am I?" It was the first thing I said in a whisper-voice when I came around.I was in a car— a limousine, lying in a seat and covered with a blanket that smelled like smoked wood. The inside of the car was painted expensive red and there was very little light. I pressed my lips together as I attempted to sit up.I may have caused a rustling sound because next, a pair of strong hands came out of nowhere. My heart skipped a beat when they held my shoulders and helped me to sit."Thanks, but who are you? Is this your car?" I asked as I whimpered quietly. My belly was big between us. Although my vision wasn't very clear right now, I saw the man's eyes focused on my belly. I immediately covered it with a hand, making his eyes snap up. That's when lights filled the car and I gasped in bewilderment.Goddess! The man was gorgeous. It was as if a hot, very hot male lead character jumped out of the Korean Manhwa. His hair was platinum silver, skin tanned and eyes so gray, I h

6Jenna's POV“Hey, Jenna.” Jace tapped my face.Chris' betrayal and Henry's wickedness were coming to hit me like a ton of bricks. What have I done to get this? I just wanted a baby. It wasn't my fault my husband's sperm count was low. It wasn't my fault we had no other option but to go through an IVF.Me being healthy didn't matter. Chris' weakness was the biggest problem.I didn't even have to do the IVF. I was ready to do the IUI where they could just place the sperm directly into my uterus around the time of my ovulation. Chris had a problem with that as well. He didn't want another man's sperm going raw inside me. That's why we went for IVF where they placed the embryo in my womb.I did that to make him happy, although that hurt me. Chris' incompetence forced me to go through an IVF like I was the one with a problem. But I didn't object. I thought I was doing the right thing. But now? Now I'm tired as all the pain is plummeting down on me."Aaagh!" I screamed slowly as I didn't

Chapter 8Jenna's POV My eyes were moist as my hand caressed the shaved head of my baby. He's such an angel, but I hate the fact that he looks just like his Alpha King Father. There's not a single feature different— he has the same nose, same lips, same skin color. Let's not talk about the hair I got shaved off. Jealousy skittered up my spine as I bit back a grunt. 'You know, this is why I never told you about how our son looks whenever you asked. I didn't know what to say and I was worried. This baby's controversial hair color always made me wonder how we are going to answer everyone's questions regarding the same. We've told everyone it's a natural pregnancy and his hair looked nothing like yours or Chris'. But the Moon goddess knew best. Now we don't have to answer anything to anyone, and the father is also here.' My wolf said as I rolled my eyes. Jace Kingston is not as clever as he looks I guess. 'Why would you think that?' 'He proposed marriage without using the right word

Chapter 10Jenna's POV"Jenna. Jenna, open your eyes. Jenna!" I heard a panic-stricken voice as my cheek was constantly patted to wake me up."Jenna, our son is crying. He's hungry. If not for me, wake up for him. Please." I heard the desperate plea before I slowly opened my eyes."Jenna!" I was still disoriented when someone pulled me up and hugged the dear life out of me. "Fuck, goodness! You're fine. I thought... I thought you won't wake up."I blinked my eyes and looked around desperately, "Where is my son?""Our son is with Oakley. He was hungry and I wanted him checked for injuries. He's taken him to the hotel to Martha, the woman who delivered him. She'll take care of him." My chest became light as I sat there with my face against his chest. "I thought you'd kick his àss, Jenna. Why did you let him assault you?" Jace's fingers grabbed my jaw to make me look into his gray eyes. "I got scared." My voice wavered and he hugged me again. "Fúck! This is why I asked you to let me co
