Chapter 2: Transfer
Zaina POV
“No! I want her to riot in jail; she nearly killed our children! Dean, she’s dangerous, and I want her out now!” I just listen to the useless things they say.
Nearly killed, huh?
“Ma’am, calm down.” The dean tried to Calm them all down. If looks can kill, I’m technically dead right now because of the deadly stares they were throwing at me. I just blankly stared at them.
“But dean! She sends 10 students to the hospital, and don’t you remember they are all part of the cheering squad of this school!” One of them said again, to which everyone agreed.
This is useless; why am I here again?
“Put her in jail!”
“Kick her out!”
And what so ever.
Dean massages his forehead because of the situation; well, their freaking voice is damn indeed irritating.
“Please Quiet!” Dean shouted, which made them all stop talking. The Dean looked at me.
“Miss Jones, did you really do that?” He asked me.
Seriously, is he asking me that stupid question? Why doesn’t he watch the CCTV video? I’m sure there are CCTV cameras in that room. I just shrugged my shoulders, which caused the parents of the bitches who are now in the hospital to make noise again.
“See? She’s a bully!”
I let out a sigh of boredom and stood up; they were all silent and stunned. Huh? I just showed a sly smirk. They had the guts to shout and teach me, but they were afraid of me.
I looked at the dean.
“You can dismiss them now. I’m out.” I finally said and started walking away while holding my coat that was slung over my shoulder.
They just stared at me as I walked out of the dean’s office.
What a life.
“Miss Jones, wait!” I looked behind me, and I saw the dean chasing after me; I stopped walking and faced him.
He gave me a piece of paper, what is this? I accepted and looked.
School form? Enrolment form? I was so confused, so I looked at him.
“If you’re interested, you can go and enrol. I think you are fit in that school.” He speaks.
I looked again at the paper I was holding. Colter Academy. This school doesn’t ring a bell to me or maybe I just forgot about it.
I looked at the dean and nodded. I walked towards my Ducati parked in the parking lot. Before I left, I gave a short nod, and he nodded back.
I go to my house and park my Ducati in the garage. My house is a huge one, but I am the only one who is living here. I went straight to my room and lay down on the bed.
I closed my eyes and let myself fall asleep. When I woke up, it was midnight. I got out of bed, went out of my room, and went into the kitchen. I was so freaking hungry I opened my refrigerator and got some food to eat.
After I ate my food, I went back into my room. I saw the folder given by the dean. Should I go to that school? I reached for it and read it again.
I see nothing wrong with it, but I sense that there is something about that school. It makes me so curious, and the thrill is there. I smirked.
I love the thrill. That’s my middle name.
I wish no one would notice me there and trigger my dangerous side.
Well, let’s see what kind of school this school is going to be tomorrow when I get there.
I slowed down my car when I saw a tall and huge gate in front of me. I got out of my car to look at it in full. What is this place? Is this the gate of the Colter Academy?
I take a look at the upper part of the gate
‘Colter Society’ is written in big bloody red lettering. I thought it was Colter Academy. This is confusing me.
Eventually, the gate gradually opened, and I saw more than ten men come out. They were carrying guns.
Oh?
“Who are you?” One of them seriously questioned me. I assumed their leader. I stood up straight and they immediately pointed a gun at me.
This is great! Yeah fucking great.
“Don’t move! Stay where you are!” I looked at them all blankly.
Don’t move my ass.
“Don’t move.” He ordered again, but I stepped once.
“I will ask you again! Who are you?”
Even if I say who I am, will they believe me? I bet not. I stepped twice again.
“Don’t move, I warned you.” This is really great.
“Put all your guns down. She’s Miss Jones, the new student of Colter Academy.” A Lady said.
They all looked at that woman and immediately lowered the guns they had pointed at me earlier.
“Pardon us, Miss White and Miss Jones, we don’t know.” Their leader said. The lady nodded and looked at me.
“Welcome to Colter Society, Miss Jones.”
I didn’t speak, and I just stared at her. It looks like I am going to stay here for too long; I’m not informed. Anyway, I’m always ready.
“Go back into your car and drive. Just follow my car, the white one. I’ll show you where the Colter Academy is located.” I nodded in response to what she said.
I got back in my car and drove into the Colter Society. When I entered the gate, I saw a white car, which was, I assume, her car. I followed her car. All I can see around are trees until …
I saw tall and huge buildings, Houses and wide lots. Then, the realisation hit me: Colter Society is the twin city of Colton Society, the place where I came from.
This place is more powerful and more advanced and yet it’s more dangerous than Colton Society. Well, as I said last night, I love the thrill.
While driving, I saw a big mansion; it was a bit far but obviously very large and isolated from other households.
We drove for over an hour; why is that school too far? I saw the white car I was following gradually stop so I stopped as well.
She sighed for me to go out, so I did; I walked closer to her.
“This place is part of the Colter Academy. This is the school dormitory. That one is for the boys.” At the same time, she pointed to a large building to our right.
“And that’s for the girls.” Then she pointed to the left side.
“Almost all of the students live in dormitories, but some of them have their own houses here. So, Miss Jones, which do you prefer? A dormitory room or a house?” She asked me.
“A house.” I sparingly answer. I don’t want to live in a dormitory.
“Very well then, Follow me.” She said and started walking into the building that was between the boy's and girls' dormitory.
“Jane!” A lady greeted her with a wide smile on her face.
“Kayley!” Jane greeted back.
I see they know each other. The lady named Kayley looked at me.
“Look what we have here … The new girl of Colter Society.” I just looked at her blankly. The smile disappeared from her lips, and the expression on her face was serious.
Suddenly, she pulled her gut out and pointed it in to my forehead. Really what’s wrong with her? I remained calm while looking at her.
She smiled again and lowered her gun.
“She’s unique.” She commented.
What the hell what was that?
Chapter 49: His LifeZaina’s POVIn this world, life is like a game of survival. You need to be brave, wise, and strong to survive. The only difference between life and a real game is… once you die, it’s over. You can’t be resurrected. If you’re lucky enough to stay alive, then move forward and continue living in this chaotic and cruel world. It’s been one week since I woke up. Since that day, I haven’t spoken a single word to him. He’s tried to ask me what happened, why I got stabbed, but I didn’t answer; instead, I remained silent. I just wanted to be alone. I wanted him to leave me alone.I need time to myself; my past keeps flashing back in my mind. It’s bothering me and affecting the way I live now. Why can’t I just forget? I wish I could lose all my memories because of that accident. How I wish…I blankly stare at the horizon as the sun sets. I’m on the terrace of the room I’m staying in, thinking about what will happen next to me. I can’t help but wonder, if he hadn’t taken an
Chapter 48: Death GroundZaina’s POVI was slowly losing blood, and I think in a moment I’ll faint. Damn those men, damn this situation. Damn this life. I just wanted a peaceful life, but why can’t I get that? Why? Why is trouble always following me around?I’m tired, very tired. I want to sleep, but I can’t. I can die this way, right? Not this way. A small sigh escapes my lips as I continue to drive the car. My vision is getting blurred, but I’m fighting against it; I need to stay awake until I reach the mansion.A small smile of hope forms on my lips as I see the mansion; I’m almost there. I need to hold on. Before I can reach the gate of the mansion, a wild deer suddenly crosses the road, causing me to change direction and hit the car against a hard tree.Damn. What bad timing. Because of the impact, my head hits something hard, which causes me to fall asleep. I don’t know if I will be able to survive; I’m losing too much blood and now I’ve hit my head hard. But before I lose consc
Chapter 47: KillingZaina’s POVI’ve been walking for how many minutes now, but still, I can’t find my way back to the mansion. I don’t know if I’m lost or if I just don’t really want to go back. Geez. I glanced at the sky when I saw it’s getting dark; it will rain really hard. What a lucky day.I stopped walking when I heard the sound of vehicles. Oh, I see? I’m close to the road now? I looked around to see where it is coming from.I think this would be a great opportunity to escape, but I won’t do that now; I’ll stay. I have something else to do.I walked toward the road, and luckily, when I got there, I saw a black car approaching. I let out a sigh and signaled the car to stop. I had the thought that the person inside it was a bad person, but… it won’t be a problem for me. I can manage it if he or she is really bad.The car slowly stopped. I looked up when the sky started to roar loudly; it was about to rain.“Hey, do you need some help?”Three men got out of the car. Just upon loo
Chapter 46: ExecuteZaina’s POV“Hey.” I greeted her when I saw her coming closer to me. She smiled and greeted back.“You’re staying with us again?” she asked me. I shook my head and answered no, plainly.“Why? I mean, why don’t you want to stay?” I just shrugged and started to move again to somewhere else that I didn’t know.“Too many reasons,” I answered while looking directly at the long hallway.“Like what?” she insisted on asking me. I glanced at her.“Reasons that I can’t tell to anyone else,” I replied meaningfully.“You are really mysterious. Who are you?” This time I smiled mysteriously.“Just a nobody,” I answered and winked at her. She smiled widely and playfully punched my shoulder.“You really don’t want to tell, eh?” she said and then chuckled. I shrugged my shoulder once again and just smiled.“Anyway, since you don’t want to tell it to me, let’s drop that subject.”That’s better.“By the way, where are you going?” “To somewhere else,” I responded.“Hmm? Are you alrigh
Chapter 45: MissionZaina’s POVI silently get off the bed and start to leave the room. I really don’t know what I should feel right now: hatred or regret?Last night, I gave in. I gave myself to him, but not my heart. I just got carried away by lust. Yeah, I felt something for him, but not in the way he felt towards me.He just confessed that he loves me and that he will never leave me? Why do I feel it was just an empty promise? That he will break his promise soon?I was taught not to trust easily, and that’s the reason why I have trust issues right now. I’m hard to please, hard to trust, show no fear, and am not capable of love.“Stand straight, chin up, and put your hands at your back!” An authoritative voice boomed from the area. The young version of me obeyed what the man told us to do. I’m not scared anymore; I learned to accept the life I have.Three years have passed; the weak version of me is gone. This is the new me: a killing machine, trained to kill, showing no mercy. The
Chapter 44: Cold TreatmentZaina’s POVMy body stiffened at what he said. Don’t leave? He can say that easily as if he didn’t send me to the dungeon last night. His guts really hit my nerves. I remained silent and stopped moving.A silence filled the room. No one dared to speak between the two of us. His eyes were closed, but I knew he was awake. I tried to get his arm off my waist, but he just tightened his grip.“I’m sorry,” he suddenly said. I didn’t respond. Tsk. Silence is a bitch; it hurts more than physical revenge. I stared at the ceiling of the room and continued ignoring him.I heard him take a deep breath before letting go of me. He held my jaw and made me face him, and then I met his eyes. There was too much emotion in them: sadness, longing, guilt… and love?“Please talk to me, baby?” he pleaded, but I remained silent, still. I just stared blankly at him. I didn’t know the King they all knew could be so dramatic. Tsk.“I’m sorry for what I said and did last night. I was j
