Right? This was impossible. Aleandro would definitely tell her and wake her up if Grandpa Hendry died.

"Aleandro..." Yuriel muttered as she struggled to get to her feet, looking for the figure of her husband who had slept beside her the night before. She realized she was in a hospital room when she looked around.

Aleandro was not in her room, and there were only two nurses gossiping beside her. Yuriel became worried when she couldn't find Aleandro and learned of Grandpa Hendry's death.

This was simply not possible. Yuriel had to make sure of it herself, she reasoned, pulling out the IV tube and getting out of bed. Her movement jolted the two nurses awake.

“Ma’am!” They stuttered and panicked. One of the nurses hastily turned off the TV and another nurse approached Yuriel.

"Ma’am, you can't get out of bed yet," she helped Yuriel to stand up straight and tried to push her back onto the bed.
