Thirty Eight
I woke up with sharp pains on every joint in my body. My blurred vision could discern that I was in a cage -- a small cage. I wasn't chained but my bones were too weak to lift me up. I summoned all the strength in me to sit up, to take a better look at my new home (a good home cause I don't know how long I'll be here). It was a small dark room, a ray of light peeked through a crack in the wall, that helped me see. I stretched a bit and licked my dry lip, the salty taste of my own blood filled my mouth.
Wow, things have really gone out of hand and I've probably started a fight i can't finish. Yuck! What a disaster. I can't continue to fight these people— they're way too powerful and i'm alone except for...oh! Luna! I looked around. Where's Luna?!
