“Clean?” I echoed, having no idea what he was talking about.
“We don’t do drugs,” he explained with a disgusted expression. “I mean, sure, some of the prospects like the occasional roll-up, but nothing that comes in liquid form and absolutely no pills.”
Gaping, I looked at him like some would look at Jack-in-a-Box! Was he being serious? There were no drugs?! But how did they---?! I mean, sure, I knew that some bikers were bikers because of their love for motorcycles, but-but-but...
If they were Viper’s enemy, there had to be drugs involved! Or at least money or something illegal, because the only thing that got Viper’s shit going was that. Drugs and money! Why would he even be remotely interested in framing a club if they weren’t rivals?!
It didn’t make sense!
