Chapter Twenty Five

Nymeria

They were coming . They found us . I needed to warn them but I could not move . The portion was really strong, keeping me locked inside my mind . I needed to break it but I was too weak . So I let go as it swept me into the darkness again .

I felt hands at both my sides trying to jerk me awake .

' Nymeria ' the voice shouted but it sounded so far away . I needed to wake up . To help . To warn them .

' Nymeria ' I heard a familiar voice call clearly .

' Mom ' I whispered in reply then I saw her face . Her warm smile .

' Mom ' I called again my eyes filling with tears .

' My sweet baby . You need to wake up . ' she replied her hand brushing my hair away from my face .

' No mom . Not anymore . I have you . '

' They need you Nymeria . You need to wake up . ' she replied using her thumb to wipe my tears away .

' But I need you . '

' He needs you . You must not leave him again . '

' Mom '
