Claiming Maggie and her claiming me was the best thing to have ever happened to me. Even though it happened in the tack room, it was still special as hell. I wouldn’t have traded this for anything in the world.

We lay there on the saddle blankets for about an hour as we kissed and felt each other’s skin. I was eating up the feeling of being naked with her and what our completed mate bond felt like. We were connected and whole for the first time in our lives. Nothing was going to take this away from us, and no one. She was mine and she would stay that way.
