“What did she say?” She asked. I ran my fingers through my hair out of frustration. I don’t understand why that bothered me so much. The look in her eyes told me that she was serious. Something must’ve happened, my gut tells me so. Somehow Natalia knows where Amelia is and she knows what happened too.
“She looked Kael dead in the eyes, there was no emotion on her face and she said ‘You’ll never see Amelia ever again’. Don’t you think that meant something?” I asked Aira. She pondered a bit before she turned to me with a look of determination on her face.

The following morning, I picked up Aira bright and early so we could start our sleuthing. [Terrence]“I think we missed out on following her, babe. I think she’s already met an accomplice, or worse, she went to see Amelia.” I told Aira. She shook her head and she pointed to her once more.“I don’t think that’s the case, babe. Look, she’s wary for some reason. I think she’s just getting something from her room but I’m sure she’ll be heading out again.” Aira said. [Kael]After I got home from work, I focused on the new product’s launch. I don’t want any more problems popping up so I’m making sure that everything goes smoothly. I buried myself in paperwork so I wouldn’t have to think about bad thoughts. I wanted to believe that Amelia is safe somewhere and she left out of her own volition. Based on the unit number of the apartment complex written on that address, a different tenant has been living there however, upon further questioning, the lady seemed to be hinting that she knows something about those bento boxes.” The PI reported. My mind was a mess right now. There was too much information and I couldn’t fully grasp everything. [Kael]“Terrence, I just got off work and I’m heading to the coordinates you sent this morning. Can you tell what you and Aira saw while following Natalia?” I asked. Before I could even start driving, Terrence stopped me.“No! Don’t go to that apartment complex just yet!” He said. I quickly rebutted and asked him why not. He told me that Natalia must have someone inside that apartment complex that’s guarding Amelia. In any case, if we barged in there without knowing what unit she’s in, whoever is guarding her can easily alert Natalia and they can escape and take Amelia away. [Kael]In a few days, our new product will be launched. Everything is going so smoothly that it’s almost suspicious. I couldn’t take any chance while we’re this close to the launch. I thought about a plan just in case something happens at the launch. It’s sort of my back up plan so I’m hoping nothing happens and I won’t have to use it. In any case, I need to focus on the project and finish it immediately so I can finally make a move to help Amelia. According to my sources, Amelia is still in that apartment complex.
