Third person's POV…

Tracy sat in her living room, her legs crossed, fingers tapping lightly against her armrest. Her gaze flicked to her wristwatch.

Her brows drew together. She stood up and walked toward the window, pulling the curtain slightly aside to peek outside.

Nothing. No sign of Adrian’s car.

Her lips pressed into a thin line. “He said six,” she muttered under her breath. “It’s almost seven.”

She stood up and walked toward the window, pulling the curtain slightly aside to peek outside.Nothing. No sign of Adrian’s car.Her lips pressed into a thin line. “He said six,” she muttered under her breath. “It’s almost seven.”She stepped back and dropped into the couch, placing her hands on her waist in frustration.“He always gets here before I even finish getting ready…”She sighed. Maybe something came up. Maybe there was an emergency.Adrian wouldn’t just leave her waiting like this… right? After another five minutes of waiting, she exhaled sharply and reached for her phone.“Let me just do something,” she murmured. “Anything to pass time.”She opened WhatsApp, scrolling absentmindedly through people’s statuses. Then the slide automatically entered Adrian's. She removed it immediately. She star

Third person's POV…Adrian watched Tracy walk away. For a second, he remained rooted to the spot, his jaw tight and his brows drawn together in confusion.Something was wrong. Very wrong. He turned slightly, as if to return to the hall, but then paused.No.With a sharp exhale, he changed direction and strode after her.At that same moment, the host had already taken the stage. Taylor’s father stood at the podium, a wide smile on his face as he adjusted the microphone.“Ladies and gentlemen,” he began warmly, “I am truly grateful to each and every one of you for honoring this invitation tonight.”The crowd quieted, attention shifting fully to him.“It means a lot to my family and I that you are all here to celebrate something very special… the successful return of my daughter, Taylor.”Applause erupted across the hall.“After bagging her Master’s degree all the way from the UK… the Queen's land”A few amused chuckles rippled through the audience.“She has made us incredibly proud.”M

  • Wrong bride to the right husband    Chapter 35

Third person's POV…Tracy sat still, her gaze locked on them. On Adrian… and the girl beside him. They laughed like nothing else existed. The girl hit his chest lightly, her laughter bright and unrestrained, and Adrian… he laughed just as freely, his hands slipping into his pockets as he leaned closer to her.Something about it felt… wrong. Completely off.A slow, burning anger began to rise in Tracy’s chest.Couldn’t he at least try to be careful?Anyone could see them. Anyone could take a picture. And just like that, the internet would explode again, another scandal, another headline, another mess. And yet, there he was. Relaxed. Careless, and comfortable. Her lips pressed into a thin line. Was this why he didn’t want me to come with him? The thought struck sharply.Because he was ashamed of me? Her gaze dropped unconsciously to her dress. It was simple. Elegant in its own right, but nothing compared to the girl's dress. Even from afar, the dress screamed wealth. Designer. Exclusiv

Third person's POV...“Alright,” she said. “Give me a few minutes. I'll dress up quickly and meet you”“No,” Adrian interrupted. "Don't bother. I’ll come pick you up. I'll meet you at your parents’ coffee shop,”She hesitated. “My parents aren’t around… the café is closed. I'll send you my address," “Okay," After the call ended, Tracy went to the living room. Her eyes moved from her phone… to her work. Then back to her phone.“Why am I so ready to go when I have work to do?” she muttered. Her subconscious answered immediately. You’re trying to fix things. She groaned softly and went back to her room. She had already showered thirty minutes ago, but she decided to shower again to feel fresher. After showers, she put on a red knee-length dress with black shoes. She untied her hair that she had tied in a bun. She divided her hair into sections and using a hair stretcher, she made each section straight. Although she did it hurriedly, not entirely straightening each section properly,

Third person's POV…Tracy sat at her desk, typing away on her computer. The soft tapping of her keyboard filled the office as she worked through her article. She paused briefly, opened a browser tab, saved a document, and skimmed through it before returning to her work.Just as she resumed typing, her phone buzzed. She frowned slightly and picked it up. A news notification. She sighed. “Another daily headline…” she muttered under her breath. She was about to ignore it when a name caught her attention.Adrian Blackwood. Her fingers froze. Slowly, she unlocked her phone and opened the notification. Her eyes widened as she read the headline.“Adrian Blackwood Claims His Girlfriend Killed the Playboy in Him.”“What?” she whispered. Her brows furrowed. “When did he do an interview?”Curious, she tapped on the video attached, but it refused to play.“Of course…” she muttered. Annoyed, she scrolled down and began reading the article instead.“It’s all thanks to my girlfriend,” Adrian stated

Third person's POV…Adrian’s eyes were still wide in surprise but he didn’t pull away. He just sat there, frozen, his eyes open as Tracy kissed him. He sat there, watching, confused, trying to understand what had just happened. What is wrong with Tracy? He wondered, but he didn't say anything.Slowly, Tracy pulled away. Their eyes met for a brief second before Adrian lifted his hand and placed the back of it against her neck.“Do you have a fever?” he asked, his brows slightly furrowed.Tracy shook her head, a small smile forming on her lips. “Someone was watching,” she said simply. Then she stepped out of the car, grabbed her bag, and shut the door.Adrian remained seated, completely stunned. Through the tinted glass, he watched her walk away, his mind struggling to process everything. His hand moved to his chest. His heart was beating fast.“Someone was watching…” he repeated under his breath. But that didn’t make sense. Their engagement hadn’t even been officially announced yet. S
