After picking out a lilac lace dress and white sandals to wear, I braided my brown locks.
"Love, they're here!" Kielton called for me from downstairs.
"Coming!" I checked my appearance before practically skipping my way to the living room.
Kielton stood on the doorway, and in front of him was a nice looking couple and a stunning middle aged woman.
The trio gasped at the sight of me.
"Baby bro, how can you hide your pretty mate from us all this time?" The woman hissed and slapped Kielton's arm.
I blushed slightly at her comment.
"Rise and shine, sweetie!" I heard Mama chirped at the end of the bed. Wait, Mama? I woke up instantly and sat up, rubbing my eyes. From beside me, Kielton groaned. His eyes still closed, and his arm remained draped over my body. Then, I heard a snap. I spotted Kierra by the door. She was holding up her phone. "Good morning, Mama. Morning Kierra." I nodded at them. "Morning, Xanthe." They greeted back in unison. "Come on, sweetie. The ceremony will happen after lunch. It's already 11am, goodness! You need to get ready n
Imma just kms bc of this chapter. I swear, I'm innocent. And I tried my best to make this light as possible, can't have the platform censoring me now lmao. ~ As I looked out the balcony, I noticed we had a full moon tonight. I remembered Sandrius telling me about how this is the time wolves can have full control over their human selves. During a full moon, when their mates remain unmated and unmarked, the urge to claim is strong. Especially an Alpha. Is that the reason why Kielton has been avoiding me throughout the day? Frowning, I went to look for him.
"You naughty bitch!" Sandrius gasped and pointed at my neck. "You did the nasty with my bestfriend, didn't you?" I blushed furiously and ran away from him when he started to tell me about positions and how condoms are very important. Finding Kielton in the kitchen cooking, I hugged him from behind. He's always the one who cooks, even though I know how. He said he likes doing it for me so I just let him do what he wants. He turned around and returned my hug as I buried my head on his chest. "Sandrius' bullying me!" I whined, at the same time Sandrius arrived at the kitchen. "Go find and
"Sandrius." I nudged him. "What?" He spared me a glance, and continued to watch the movie we were watching. "I feel really weird." "You just find that out now?" Sandrius continued eating his pizza. I slapped his arm and he yelped. "What the fuck?" He gave me a skeptical look. "You hit like a freaking bitch!" I looked down at my hands with a pout. "I did?" "Yes!" He exclaimed. "I didn't mean to. I'm sorry. But, I really do feel weird, Sandy."

I'm aching all over. Sweat sticks to me like second skin as I continued to run. My hands were bloodied and the only cloth I'm wearing is stained with blotches of blood. All I can see are trees and the misty fog. Searing pain shot up my legs and I decided to rest for a while to give my poor self a break. Silence. Complete utter silence. Not even a single cricket can be heard. I looked up to see the sky turning a soft glow of pink and orange. It's so pretty. When had I last seen this? I can't even remember.
My hands were shaking as I hugged him. Were they really dead? All of them? Am I free from them? I'm overwhelmed with the fact that there's no more chasing. No more running away. I cried as I hugged the wolf tighter. My angel wolf. Mistaking my cries for distress, the wolf whined and licked those tears away. I didn't mind that it was literally on someone's head just a few moments ago. This angel wolf of mine saved my life. Before I even realized it, I was lulled to sleep.
He chuckled. Rumbles vibrated throughout his body. Making me feel flushed for an unknown reason. I casted him a confused glance as he put me down, back on my feet. "You recognize me, love. For that, I am very happy." He sent me a smile. "I know that you are filled with questions, but first of all, my name is Kielton. River Glow's Alpha." His chest puffed out with pride as he claimed that. He then gestured towards Mikhail, "He is the Beta of the pack. My second in command." Mikhail bowed his head, and I nodded to him in acknowledgment.
