Chapter 24

In Sanjay’s home, Amita was in her room wearing a long face when Sanjay walked in.

“What are you doing here?” she questioned with a hint of anger in her voice.

“I’m sorry, Amita,” he apologized touching her on the shoulder. “I shouldn’t have raised my voice at you.”

“It’s okay,” she accepted. She couldn’t be angry with her brother for long. She is just that easy. “I just don’t want you to get involved in things that will bring you problems,” she stated.

“I have heard you. Cheer up now, okay? I want to take you shopping today,” he said.

“Really?!” Amita exclaimed happily, jumping up on the bed.

“Dress up quickly, okay? I will be waiting for you in the car,” Sanjay said with a smile.

“I will be ready in a few minutes,” she stated enthusiastically as she sprung up from the bed and Sanjay went out. She dressed up some minutes later and went to meet Sanjay.

“How do I look?” she asked as she spun around in her beautiful flared gown.

“You look as charming as always,” Sanjay complime
