DayLan's POV:

I'm restless, I need to know every move Maria makes, if she's still talking to her boyfriend every day. If I need to talk to Dc, I'll do it, she's the only one who knows every move Maria makes since she's with her at home, and our kid, especially Jet, our eldest son, needs constant communication, in case he talks to his mom and she changes her mind. I need to call him now.

'Hi kid, how are you?' I ask him.

'We're okay, Dad, how about you?' Jet replies.

'It's just that, son, I'm still having a hard time winning your mom back, I'm blocked on social media, and the last number you gave me is no longer active. Does she have a new number?' I ask again. 'Yeah, Dad, I'll send it to you, just don't tell Mom it was me, or I'll get grounded for a week, it's so hard to be without a phone,' Jet replies with concern. 'Don't worry, boy, I'll handle it. Is your sister Dc still with you guys? Do she and your mom always go out?' I ask.
