Chapter 23

Nichole threw open the door and entered the room. As soon as she entered, the door behind her was closed. Nichole was scared for a moment as she started shouting, " What are you doing? Open the door."

"Don't be scared. I won't make any harm to you." As soon as Nichole heard this voice, she noticed a figure standing near the window with her back to the door. She appeared a little familiar but she couldn't get who she was.

She walked towards her and as she stood close to her, she asked her "Who are you?" The old lady turned her face and said to Nichole, " I never expected that you won't recognize me."

Nichole was taken aback seeing the elegant and gentle woman in front of her. She was the woman whom she loved and respected equivalent to her mother. But she never thought that she would appear in front of her like this.

"How are you, Nichole?" The woman asked her again with all motherly love. Nichole immediately hugged her and started crying. For a moment, she felt like she was her mother
