Determined and Prepared

As Helena left the council room, her mind was racing with thoughts of the task ahead. She knew that hunting Drake would be no easy feat, and that she needed to prepare herself mentally and physically for the challenge.

The first thing she did was visit the armory. She needed to make sure she had the right weapons for the job. She selected a set of silver stakes, a crossbow with silver-tipped bolts, and a short sword with a silver-coated blade. These were her preferred weapons for vampire hunting, and she knew she could trust them to get the job done.

Next, she went to the training room to practice her moves. She went through her fighting stances, testing her reflexes and her speed. She knew that Drake was a formidable opponent, and she needed to be at the top of her game if she wanted to stand a chance against him.

Finally, she retired to her quarters to meditate and clear her mind. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing, letting the tension and anxiety melt away.

When she opened her eyes again, she felt a sense of calm and determination wash over her. She was ready for this. She was ready to face Drake, and to bring him to justice, after all he wants as the one responsible for the dwindling numbers of her clan.

She packed her weapons and supplies into her pick-up truck, a trusty vehicle that had seen her through many a hunt. She took one last deep breath and set out on her mission, her eyes fixed on the road ahead.
