Violet's POV
Nobody said a word. Everyone was shocked, although we all knew that Mrs Mercanti was still alive. But seeing her with their own eyes after they thought she was dead was shocking.
I never saw her in my life. This was our first encounter, and I don't know how she will react when she knows she is going to have a granddaughter. And of course, how will she accept me when she knows I'm her son's girlfriend.
"Vincenzo." She sobbed walking towards her son.
We were all surprised when Vin stood behind me.
"Don't." He spoke preventing her from coming near him.
